Um, you seem to leave out 1/2 of the game of basketball. Defense.

LeBitch is a joke on defense. There are 100's of videos out on youtube showing just how utterly lazy LeBitch is on defense.
Said MJ is a better defender in the post you quoted

LeBron is definitely a shitty defender now, but he was a great defender in his prime. No debating that.

In this ass beating he just became first player in history to have 30k/10k assists

He's also #4 on the all time list for missed shots, and moving to the top fast.

LeBitch isn't even in the top 20 for the amount of times voted to NBA defensive team:

Where does he rank on made shots? He's a career 50.5% shooter

He's going to pass Kareem in total points in way fewer games. He's also going to pass Magic Johnson in assists.

So he's going to pass Kareem in points (widely regarded as a top 5 player time), and Magic in assists (widely regarded as a top 5 player all time)

Instead of being petty, how about you appreciate how great this guy is at this stage of his career. There's never been a player in the NBA this great this late in his career

If you just don't like the guy, then just say it and make fun of him for his off the court shit. Trying to argue against him as one of the two greatest players ever is just pointless. There's literally no argument against it.

Big men can shoot over 60%. Layups and dunks are high percentage shots. Brick isn't a good outside shooter.

No one is saying that Brick isn't a great player. But saying that he's a good shooter and is faster than Jordan is pure insanity.

In the modern game, no 1 player can really do much defensively when not playing within a team concept but LeBron on the right team is absolutely an elite defender. I.e 2020 Lakers, Heat teams......You can find youtube shitting on anyones effort in the regular season

LeBron/MJ argument in 2022 is pretty lol though...y'all need some new shit to talk about

Curry's the best shooter of all time and he's hitting 43% this year. You have to take distance into consideration.

Yeah and it's still his worst shooting season. Him and Klay both.

Curry's north of 43% from 3 for his career.

Everyone goes through tough stretches % wise, including LeBron and MJ.

LeBron is pretty fucking efficient career-wise all things considered

He hasn't been an elite defender in 10 years. He can have a series or two a game at times. He's always one of the slowest to get back on defense and gives up a lot of points. The one highlight defensive play is misleading.

Curry's the best of all time. The point is that you are ignoring distance and situation. Brick can be brutal outside. Remember the SA finals when the game plan was to let Brick shoot. They didn't even cover him.

Pretty much all of the advanced stats as well as my superb eye test had him as an elite defender during the Lakers '20 title season (when they were the best defensive team in the league)

That basically extended into '20-21 before both Bron and AD started dying with injuries and the Lakers haven't been the same since

But if your feels tell you differently then do you boss. Only 1 of us has emotions with it.

Ignoring distance?

LeBron takes way more 3's than MJ

A higher % of LeBron's shots were from 16-22ft than were for MJ. Probably the toughest distance on the court along with 10-14ft

LeBron can still play great defense. I think he checks out more on a nightly basis, especiallly this year, because of the load he has to carry nightly on offense playing with these stooges

Heat Bron was as good a defender as there was in the game. Shutting down MVP's like Rose

The Spurs threw so many looks at LeBron James during the Finals last season but played with one consistent idea in mind: Let him shoot. And San Antonio did just that, sagging off him throughout the series. Even though LeBron has become a more-than-reliable jump-shooter, the Spurs prioritized allowing the jumper over letting him get to the rim.

It makes sense. LeBron made a completely unrealistic 80 percent of his shots at the rim during this regular season (no one does that, by the way).
80% at the rim.
