Love it too. Remember last year when Michelin Marshmallow Man Brian Windhorst said, "Lebron reaching the 2018 Finals is the same as winning the finals"
It's gonna be weird watching the Warriors hoist a trophy and it won't be against Lebron.

From a betting perspective I think we have to take Denver tonight. Fade the Fakers.

Lebron is very easy to hate and I’m not even a fan of the nba.

the nba is horrible from a pro sports perspective.

play 6 months and there are only 4 teams that matter

and we already know the finals match up but they will still play for 2 months in their fake playoffs

a white only basketball league would be great but that never formed because all of the not real people bitched. Anyway I am going to go to “ black people meet.com”

The worst thing is how ESPN continually presents the situation as though it is so tough for LeBron to be in this situation.
"Poor LeBron", 24/7.
Sickening.

Didn't he choose that "situation"?

Wasn't he supposed to lead the Lakers to the LaLa Promised Land?

NEW YORK -- The worst season of LeBron James' career since he was a rookie hit a new low Sunday with James' worst shooting quarter in his 16 years as a pro.
In the Los Angeles Lakers' 124-123 loss to the New York Knicks, James not only had his potential game-winning shot blocked in the final seconds by Mario Hezonja but he went 4-for-15 from the field in the fourth quarter -- the 11 missed shots representing the most he has ever missed in a quarter, according to ESPN Stats & Information.<iframe class="teads-resize" style="box-sizing: border-box; width: 565px; height: 0px !important; min-height: 0px !important; border-width: initial !important; border-style: none !important; margin: 0px !important; padding: 0px !important; display: block !important;"></iframe>

<iframe allow="autoplay" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="box-sizing: border-box; display: block; margin: 0px !important; padding: 0px !important; width: 450px !important; height: 254px !important; border-width: 0px !important; border-style: initial !important; overflow: hidden !important; float: none !important; max-height: 254px !important;"></iframe>

After trailing by 11 with 3:44 remaining in the fourth, the Knicks closed on a 13-1 run, with the Lakers going 0-for-6 from the floor -- James accounted for four of those -- and coughing up two turnovers to seal the defeat.
It completed a season sweep by a New York team that has a 14-56 record -- worst in the NBA -- making the Lakers the only team out of their 29 opponents the Knicks managed to sweep this season.
"It bothers me in the fact we didn't close the game out, and being the competitor that I am, it bothers me that I didn't make enough plays down the stretch; it bothers me that I didn't even get a shot up at the hoop," James said. "Of course that stuff bothers me, but I mean what's the difference between their record and our record? Two teams out of the postseason. So there's no difference. We have a couple more wins than them, but both teams right now are on the outside looking in, so it's not much of a difference."

LeBron James puts on a show with 33 points at MSG, but his potential game-winner gets blocked by Mario Hezonja as the Knicks steal a 124-123 win.

The loss dropped the Lakers to 31-39 -- their exact same record through 70 games as last season when they didn't have James. The .443 winning percentage makes it the worst team James has played on since his Cleveland Cavaliers went 35-47 (.427) his rookie year.
James led L.A. with 33 points and eight assists, but prior to the drive on Hezonja, he opted for two long jumpers in the final minutes and finished the game 0-for-6 from 3.
Both James and Lakers coach Luke Walton pointed to L.A.'s lack of defensive execution down the stretch, but the offense also stagnated. Asked if the Lakers moved the ball enough in crunch time, James said that indeed they did. "Yeah," he said. "Yeah. Absolutely."
It was the second time Hezonja burned the Lakers this season. Back in the Knicks' 119-112 win in Los Angeles on Jan. 4, Hezonja scored 10 points in the fourth quarter.
"He just missed shots. Don't get that twisted," Hezonja said Sunday of his defense on James. "He just missed shots. If you are saying you are the reason he's missing shots, you are an idiot. Pretty simple."
Still, Hezonja joined a select group of defenders to block James on a go-ahead field goal attempt in the final five seconds of a game. It has only happened six times to James, with Hezonja being the latest after Tobias Harris in January, Mason Plumlee in April 2014, Jimmy Butler in March 2014, John Salmons in February 2013 and Samuel Dalembert in April 2008.

"He's one of the all-time great players in our league," Walton said. "He understands time and score and everything else. So, he's earned that right to take the shots he feels comfortable with. As opposed to some younger guys, you draw things up and tell them what to look for and tell them where to go at what time. He's earned the right to feel that out and take the shots he feels like are going to be good for him."
The Lakers now trail the Clippers by nine games for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference with 12 games left to play. In other words, L.A. might as well turn its full focus to this summer's impending free agency.
James was asked what his message would be to players considering joining him with the Lakers.

</article>"Listen, at the end of the day this franchise wants to win and wants to win big, and the one thing about the franchise, they cater to the players," he said. "And that's it. Everything else comes secondary, they only want us to go out and perform at a high level and play the game at a high level so we can be mentioned with some of the great teams that's in the league at that point in time. ...
"There's a lot of great free agents this summer. Not going to name any names because every time I say something, or our organization says something about a specific person we get in trouble, but we have an opportunity to get better, and that's something that is definitely great to know that, when you have an opportunity to get better from a personnel standpoint."

There is no question he is not the best basketball player on Earth as so many in the fake ESPN shitty media try to pretend he is.

Is his mom still sucking off his teamates like she used too? Typical "single mom, I had him when I was 15" slut. Lebron gives her millions but I bet she still acts exactly like a crack whore

I hope the Lakers don't get the free agents he wants this summer. Would be comical.

Magic not the great businessman without Dr. Jerry Buss telling him what to do. Haha

Basketball Hall of Fame point guard Walt "Clyde" Frazier criticized Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James for not being involved in team discussions during a timeout in Sunday's game against the New York Knicks.
Frazier, who currently works as a color commentator for Knicks coverage on MSG, suggested James' lack of effort to show he's "part of the team" illustrates "he doesn't really care:"

James' seeming indifference about what's going on during Lakers huddles has become a talking point in recent weeks since he turned his back on head coach Luke Walton and Co. during a Feb. 27 stoppage against the New Orleans Pelicans.

LEBRON NOT IN HUDDLE DURING TIMEOUT #lakers #lakeshow

</twitter-widget>
With L.A. owning a record—31-38 going into Sunday's game—that's well short of expectations following the blockbuster offseason signing of James, the four-time NBA MVP provided lukewarm praise of Walton before a March 6 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
"One thing that's been consistent is the voice of our head coach," he told reporters. "Throughout all the injuries, he's been the one that's remained the same and consistent throughout the whole year."
Behind the scenes, however, it appears the Lakers are preparing to make a coaching change.
"The prevailing assumption in league coaching circles remains that Walton will almost certainly be dismissed after the season, followed by the Lakers resuming their trade quest for [Pelicans star Anthony] Davis," Marc Stein of the New York Times reported March 3.
In January, ESPN's Jackie MacMullan (via Chris Bengel of CBS Sports) noted: "It's clear to me … that LeBron's camp would prefer a coaching change. They're not too subtle about that."
The bottom line is every move James takes and each comment he makes during the rest of the regular season will likely be overanalyzed as the Lakers prepare for a crucial summer.
Frazier's pointed remarks are just the latest example.

It's a lot tougher making the finals in the West, where there's depth, than playing in the weak Eastern conference. Just look at the all-timers that played in the West during Lebrons career, Kobe, Duncan, Curry, Durant, Harden, Westbrook. Other than the freak who is just now reaching his prime, no one in the east can compare to these all-timers. Kevin Garnett had maybe 2 great seasons left when he went to the East. He just played in a shitty conference, brought along Bosh, Love, Irving, and joined Wade. (Didn't include Wade also didn't include Nash) Great player yes, but can't compare him to Jordan. Jordan said it best when commenting on Lebron's move to Miami. He said I wanted to beat Bird and Magic not join them!

Now he is out with a groin injury.

Again.

Sure.

He is an overrated, aging, arrogant prick and I cannot stand the way ESPN has kissed his ass the last several years.

Sickening.

I am laughing my ass off as the Lakers go down the tubes with him failing and now apparently no star players interested in coming over in the off season to be part of his crap filled act.

The hits keep coming for LeBron James as he nears the end of a disappointing first season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
During Tuesday's episode of Pardon The Interruption, Michael Wilbon addressed the rumors about Doc Rivers potentially taking over as Lakers head coach next season:
"There are people in southern California right now in that environment telling Doc he doesn't wanna do this. And one of those reasons is simply, LeBron James. He's been told by people—and I know this—LeBron doesn't want to be coached. He's never been coached by someone with that kind of personality, command, authority, acumen, intellect. He's rejected that. So Doc is being reminded of that by people."

NBA reporter Peter Vecsey wrote Monday on his Patreon (h/t The Big Lead's Ryan Phillips) that Rivers "always has wanted" to coach the Lakers or New York Knicks at some point before he retires.
During the March 5 episode of ESPN's First Take, Stephen A. Smith said Rivers could be among the list of potential head-coaching candidates the Lakers pursue this summer.
Luke Walton is currently the Lakers head coach, but it's expected he won't last long after this season ends.
ESPN's Jackie MacMullan reported on the Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective podcast in January (CBS Sports' Chris Bengel) that James' camp would prefer the Lakers make a coaching change.
James has earned a reputation over the course of his career as a "coach killer" because of his apparent influence on every team he's played for. The four-time NBA MVP has played for seven different coaches in his 16 seasons.
Mike Brown and Erik Spoelstra are the only coaches James has played for who lasted at least three full seasons.
The Lakers will enter this summer trying to improve a roster around James that has led them to a 31-39 record with 12 games left to play.

While some have shut down the mere thought of trading LeBron James as the Los Angeles Lakers are most likely bound to miss the playoffs, it seems he’s no longer the hot mega-star most teams salivated at during this past offseason.

“Hmmm,” pondered one Eastern Conference owner when asked if his team would trade for James if given the chance, according to Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report. “At this point, probably not, given where we are. I wouldn’t want to gut the team for a player that isn’t committed and is toward the end of his career.”

A different owner was more flexible, yet still hesitant to make the deal, unless it came with some conditions.
“Depends on what I’d have to give up,” said a Western Conference owner. “I wouldn’t roll up the truck and give more than one protected first[-round pick].”
Teams around the NBA have realized that having James in the roster includes making a team a complete blank canvas for him to paint with his preferred personnel, much like president Magic Johnson was forced to do, surrounding him with playmakers and defenders.
The gambit didn’t work, as the young core of the team wasn’t enough without a second star to pair with James, and the loose pieces of Lance Stephenson, Rajon Rondo and JaVale McGee were not enough help throughout the season to help him make the playoffs.

Through his history of winning, James has always had a sidekick to help him reach the promised land, and that hasn’t changed.
At 34 years old, James likely doesn’t have what it takes to play with an already-built roster, which is why some of these owners would be hesitant to trade for him at this point of his career.
