Used to work three jobs to keep it together for me and my girl who was going to college at the time. She worked one part time. Had to keep the thermostat at 58 'cause we needed to save on heat. Learned how to make pasta sauce. Cheap eats. Drove an old car with bald tires. No biggie. Didn't make me better or worse than anybody being broke. Just hungry to do better.
