Listen Miss, I didn't mean to get you all upset and sqawking...all I said was you gave bad advice, which you did, and you're either too stupid or too much of a hot head red neck to realize it...or a better guess, by the way you write like a woman who just got her feelings hurt, is that you're too suborn to admit it. Hell, maybe you are a chick.
I simply disagreed on the two points you made 1) people shouldn't make make, quick, emotional bets over extending themselves in order to try and recover quickly from a bad beat. It happens SO much, they gave it a name...chasing. Now I realize we won't find "chasing" in Websters but as a slang term in gambling, it's a negative thing to do...there's nothing "good and sound" about it - that doesn't even make any sence. And I'm sorry to break it to you Miss, but you're wrong in saying so and all the bold type, panties-in-a-wad ranting in your trailer park world isn't gonna make you right.
Harrington even said in a later post that he LIKED the bet so it wasn't really chasing. He understands the jargon of the game.
On the 2nd thing, after reading your cliche driven crap about "not playing scared" and "just blowing it off", I realized I took your comment the wrong way - you meant don't let it get to you (which I agree with) and I was saying learn from your mistakes (which lI hope you even understand).
I've seen Harrington around for years and think he's a good solid Rx'er - I like his style. And I read MUCH more than I post unless I see some blowhard bragging about his years in the game, and giving bad - in your case, stupid advice - then I chime in, which is kinda the way this whole public post things works.
(and when you reply, I suggest you increase the font size another notch - it makes your words seem...um...bigger)
Thats what they normally say. But for me the betting game actually calls for lots of analysis and patience before you place a bet.
It is actually very difficult to analyse data ourselves. You must have a system set up either by youself or use other's which has been tried and tested. That will reduce most of the guesswork and the bet is on calculated risk and not gut feeling.
Trust me I've been there before I met her.
Good luck to you.

You obviously have not had much experience winning at the window. That's ok, youre probably the guy that gets burried every year and promises to quit over and over. Listen, I understand, I've been there done that remember. I'm glad you think it's bad advise, because it was not intended for you, for obvious reasons. Maybe 10 years from now when you have some experience, you'll understand what I'm speaking of. If you havn't won over the years, then it's probaby time to change something. I figured out that something. Once again, DICK, this advice was not for a kid, it was for a veteran gambler. By the way, before you start talking shit to someone, you should have your facts straight. You my friend are an idot!
Experience?!? "Understand what your speaking of"?!? Are you kidding me? YOU don't even understand what you're speaking of...you don't know what the word "chase" means in regaurds to gambling and your bragging about your experience? My God son, you are just as dumb a fvcking post aren't you?
You seem incapable of following a rational thought from point A to point B so I'm gonna say this nice a slow and use small words whenever possible. If you are giving advice to a rookie or a 50 year vet..."CHASING" is a negtive term in gambling!!! And to defend chasing as good advice in any case (unless the object is to lose money, which is exactly what happen to Mr. Harington unfortunatly) is WRONG!!! OK? You've been doing this how long? 10 years?!? BWAH HA HHA AHHAA And you don't know that? Then you SUCK at gambling.
I don't care if you've been doing it for 100 years... if you can't A) learn the definition of a basic concept/pitfall of your hobbie and b) don't realize that, "good sound chasing" is NOT OK. (Becuase if it's "good and sound"...IT'S NOT CHASING DUMBASS!!!) And again - it doesn't matter who you were giving the advice to!
And as for experence I would wager: I'm older that you, have been betting longer that you, would beat your sorry, redneck, motocross ugly ass in A) any agreed on wagering contest tracked by a 3rd party here at the Rx (you pick the amount held by a said 3rd party) as well as B) any one of the standard tests of intellegnce that they use to determine IQ.
I deserve to get bashed. It's bad enough I chased my Indy loss and then some, but to come in here and make a post about how much I am laying on a game is stupid. It makes no difference how much my wagers are to anyone here. I have come into these forums many times and preached to everyone about sound money management, don't chase, don't try to get it all back in one play, etc., etc. A few times a season I get a little crazy and today was one of those times. I was 4-2 +5.7 units coming into today and now find myself down and really pissed off. Hey they call it gambling for a reason boys. I'll see you all soon but right now I need to take a little break and regroup. Take care boys and to all of you who were smart enough to take the Giants congratulations!!
You just don't get it you fool. Since you think so highly of yourself, please feel free to post your plays. And as far as having a contest with me, well that just goes to show your 8th grade mentality. All of my plays have been posted here with a winning record. I highly doubt you can do any better. Once again, feel free to look thats what were here for. I'm here to help people win, not lose. If you feel that you need to rant and rave like the little pussy you are, please do it somewhere else. No need continue this any longer... You will always be a loser and trust me son good luck trying to beat my ass. P.S. I've proved I'm a winner, while you proved that youre an asshole!
