Barman, look again.

Been at this game for over a decade now and have never seen a legitimate causative correlation between any Day of the week (or holiday etc) and end results for Fave/Dog/Under/Over
I don't know about Favs vs Dogs and Overs vs Unders but you failed to mention the one situation where there is a strong correlation between home and away teams. While this works well for the major holidays it is a legitimate money maker for one specific holiday, the holiday which I have played for many years and while not keeping any records, I remember lots of easy winners.
CHRISTMAS DAY. Play the home team when two top teams (over .600 winning percentage) play each other. Think back guys. Do you remember playing the National TV games on Christmas day and how your plays did. A good example was this past Christmas when I posted a play on the Lakers at home over Boston when Boston was still "hot" and the Public was all over Boston. Final Score Lakers, a two point favorite, 92, Boston 83.
The past three Christmas', the top tier home teams were 5-2 ATS.
Dec 25 2006
MIAMI + 1 won by 16.
Dec 25 2007
CLEVELAND -4.5 won by 14.
LAKERS +2 won by 17.
Dec 25 2008
ORLANDO -5 won by 20.
LAKERS -2 won by 9.
But Portland and Phoenix at home did NOT cover.
Why do I think this will continue. Of all the holidays, Christmas is a "be with family" holiday. The away teams on Christmas day do not want to be playing basketball away from their families and are looking forward to getting back home. They are just going thru the motions waiting for the game to end. Easter is another holiday with mostly home teams covering. If
anyone has home/away records for Christmas Day going back more than just three years, that would be interesting to see.
