Too talented? Japan is just as talented if not more so. It's probably a perfectly even matchup with the edge going to Japan because they have a somewhat home field advantage. That is why Japan is the favorite for this game.

First of all USA is the favorite, and 2nd of all Japan has NO WHERE near the talent USA does. The ONLY advantage japan has over the US is that they have played together more often than the players on this US team have. U say i know nothing of what i speak with sports but that post is COMPLETELY off base..

USA is favored...you guys forget theres ties in soccer. you can bet the tie at +200, which factors into the odds of either team winning.

I agree with EN, Japan lost their best players from years past, this team is much weaker than usa. great value play since many people think usa soccer sucks.

When I checked at 5dimes Japan was +130, USA was +150 so Japan would be the favorite. I just checked now at thegreek and 5dimes and USA is now the favorite, so although I was right when I said it earlier, you are also right.

I said that about you knowing sports because of some things I've seen you say. It could be you're just very sarcastic, but that's not how it came off to me. First you say Cain is an overrated chump, which couldn't be more wrong. You say Suppan is a lights out pitcher, again couldn't be more wrong. You say Homer Bailey is the worst pitcher in baseball, and although yes he is struggling right now he is still a top prospect and there are much more pitchers in the MLB right now that I'd put below Bailey.

Jesus..do the announcers have money on Japan? Keep in mind I only watched from the 50 min mark so not sure about the first part but I was surprised at the way they announced the game.

Whenever it looked like the US was fouled the refs were right not to call it, but whenever it looked like Japan was fouled it def should have been called. Adu got crushed in the box at the 66 min mark and the color guy says NO WAY it should be called. A little later a lighter foul may have been committed in the US box and it "def should have been a pk" Then they said repeatedly that Japan should be winning and "deserve atleast 1 goal" and have been "unlucky" WTF?

But ayways congrats to US backers! USA ALL THE WAY!!
