The other thing is this game is kinda old and the graphics are very dated. Kind of crusty at this point.

4 years ago, I remember my first guild. We had so much fun. Made some good online pals. Was just a casual guild, but we always helped each other out.

Jake i wish u would listen to ECS. Im sitting about 50 ft from a young man who has (so far) ruined the last 5 years of his life because of this game....that doesnt pay nor have the potential to pay 1 penny.
For 90% im sure its nothing but for that 10% its as bad as crack, meth or anything else. The only good thing i can say about it is you wont have to sell everything your parents own to play it...other than that there is no difference between this and drugs...

Agreed. I don't think many people know how bad that game and other MMORPGS can be. Comparing it to a crack addiction is actually a legitimate comparison for some of the people who play that game. A large minority who play WOW literally do nothing in their life but eat microwaved food and play world of warcraft 12-16 hours a day. And in 5-7 years when the game is dying or dead, all the hours they've invested in that game will mean absolutely nothing.


Stay away from that mindless game.

if you want a computer again i suggest you go old school with like command and conquer. Military game with missions (ww2 type shit) also has a good multiplier vs the cpu or online players. You can build your own worlds and play people online in it.

Ive played Everquest off and on since its release in 99. Ive sold my account (when i quit forever) 3 different times and still go back to play again with a new account. Never played WOW, lot of guys i knew left EQ for WOW when it came out in 02 or so(?)

Like most the others said, if you have never played it dont start. MMORPG's are very addictive but also very fun. I pay 15 bucks a month for maybe 10 hrs a week game time (was playing well over 40 a week at one time). These game do go GREAT with weed, thats about it.

However, if you want to play Everquest , PM me I can hook you up in game with a guild and lots of people to help you get started so the learnign curve isnt so steep. The only reason id ever suggest such a game is for someone that wants to waste a lot of free time without spending much money. It works for that.

Wow, that game is ancient! Good times though.

I prefer XBOX Live. People who play computer games are just too geeky.

Halo, Call of Duty, Rock Band, GTA, Gears of War, good games.
