My thoughts always were........

Challenges were on field awhile ago with prizes to the winners and an opportunity for the player to see how easy the Sportsbook made playing for you. Along came the Casino and Books odds went way up! Easier/Faster profits for them and the forums got less activity with a different competition....... Trolls? whatever this means, maybe the other competition I'm talking about?

Notice past Poker tourneys, 27-24 players in a free contest :think2: why so few? Daily/Weekly contests kept me coming back to the Forum, following/playing sports with a chance for an account with a 5-10 rollover. Now my time has been more on talking about America.... :hammerit

Then after 6 months of EOG he will start a goodbye thread saying EOG sucks then start a thread here saying therx is the best site on the Internet .
Then 6 months after that he will start a goodbye thread at therx saying therx sucks then will start a thread at EOG saying EOG is the best site on the Internet.

Everyone knows overall activity is down across all sports forums.

It's not something any of us need to be reminded of over & over by those who thing they're bringing big news.

However, despite what some believe, this forum in particular, Therx, has maintained the same traffic the past 3 years.
The numbers dont lie.

And of course it's that slow time of year again in sports & this is when we hear the repetitive mentions about the forum being dead.

I have the opinion that there's sooo much talk going on about gambling & sports betting being made legal in the future, that people are losing interest at the wrong time.

What happens if in the near future we start to see a chain of events leading to legalization here & there? (Actually we're alreafy seeing it)

Do we welcome the bandwagon-posters back with open arms lol?
