I hope you had a great trip.

Where did you go in Columbia? What level of Spanish do you need to know to get by?

I'm thinking of going myself, maybe Cartagena or Medellin. Any travel tips you could give are appreciated.

I spoke zero Spanish, and I’ll never do that again. Lol. The girl I was with was fluent. I flew into Bogota. But we went to choachi and a few small other towns. We arent fans of the city. But bogota was cool.

She’s a nomad and left the US as a ER nurse when Covid started. She’s lived there 2 years now.

I love it. I can see myself possibly living there in the future.

I’d learn some Spanish. It will make it easier for sure. The city you can kinda get by, but it will be more difficult for sure.
