Yesterday I took my kids to have some pizza, they said they were hungry so I ordered the big one..... in to the first slice they said they were full, BOTH of them, SO I had to eat it all..... It's not good, but who really gives a shit, right....

I dont. I'm in my 30's I'm not hot and heavy after girls like I used to be. Actually I skipped breakfast like I usually do and seem OK. It just hurt more from the metabolism going faster.

Pizza seems to go through your system pretty fast too.

Its extremely difficult to find 'good' pizza.

I think Bertucci's is the best of the chains. The problem is that it is more of a restaraunt atmosphere I have no idea if they even deliver. Their white sauce pizza is unreal. And they use a stone brick oven.

I like UNO's a lot too. But it is very thick and also expensive. And the pies arent that big. But they use the real chunks of tomato and also have an oven that is superior to most others.

To me what makes the biggest difference is as follows:

1. If the dough was made fresh that day. (It's very rare for places to do this, as they usually get the frozen pre-made and thaw it. But it makes a HUGE difference)
2. The oven. The generic oven you see in a lot of these newer mom and pop places just dont give you the crisp, somewhat flaky crust with the chewy middle. A lot of chains are like this too unfortuneatly.
3. The sauce. The UNO's sauce for example is actually kind of bland. But it's done so well it works perfectly.
4. Qaulity of the meats. I cant tell you how many times I have had shit pepporoni. It ruins the expierence sometimes.
5. Qaulity of the cheese (most cheese is the same IMO)

I have been dieting so hard the last few months. Ive lost some where around 15 pounds.

But tonight, I dont know what happened. I just gave in and ordered whatever the stupid special was.

I scarved down 5 pieces, fell asleep. Just woke up and had the other 3.

Thats like 2500 calories. So much for the diet. I wont ever have to eat again now.

Rob, I'm 3 weeks today into a fairly strict diet, and over the weekend I cheated for the first time, with, you guessed it...

A Papa Johns large whatever-the-fuck-it-was special!!!!

lmao

I think the deals might be regional. First thing I ask is if they have any specials. If they say NO, then I just order what I really want.

I remember one time I ended up with a final 4 commemorative basketball from them, and I was like "what the hell am I going to do with this?!"
