Corrales is one of the toughest fighters in the sport. I think most people know that he was gonna get up and continue. I really dont think that the extra few seconds made a big difference. Castillo got the extra time too. Now Dale Brown, that was bogus. I spur of the moment decision by a ref isnt anything like the judging problems in the sport. If the ref called off the fight or DQ'd Chico, then everyone would be up in arms about a quick stoppage after such a greta fight. Everyone needs to enjoy one of the best fights in history

if weeks had done his job with some sense of urgency,it would have been the perfect fight...

as it stands,i will forever believe tht the wrong guy won..and i`m not alone....

to say that the extra 35 seconds was incidental,is irresponsible...at the very leat,extremely biased...

45 seconds to recover from knockdowns?..no advantage.....no big deal...

weeks altered boxing history...in my opinion...

of course,that and 2 bucks can get me a cup of coffee at starbucks...

kind of like horseracing fate can cause the best horse not to win. as long as weeks didn't have an agenda then it is just the breaks of the game or looking back we could probably identify many fights that were altered to to referee incompetence. variables that change the outcome of the final result will go both ways. just like an ump or football refs bad call that has impacted a game nothing can really be done to change the outcome. i do agree that castillo had a huge shot of ending the fight if no extra time is given to corrales.
