That's not the question.

he has almost 11 years experience at both state and the federal level. A state that represents the 3rd largest city in the country. Plus he has a constitutianl law degree from Harvard(law expeirence might come into play when you are the President of the United States) <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Bblight if you needed an smart person to defend you in any legal situation and you had to choose between BO, McCainn or Palin who would you pick to represent you in a very complex legal case ? I would take BO.

I'd want a smart, experienced person - no classroom ever taught a person how to succeed -it gives you the tools to for success, but success is something that only sweat and experience will give you. You don't have to be extra smart to be successful.

I think we can all agree that Obama is a very inteligent man and an astute politician - the question is whether he'd make a good President or not.

I think he would be a President from the James Earl Carter mold.

Gimmee a break!

Most of his experience is as a "community organizer" where he was more of an administrator than a hands on person. And he has no record worthy of note from his several years in the state legislature. And he's spent most of his time as a Senator running for President.

There's no record of his record!

Cool we agree he is smart the experience thing I agree he does not have a ton but his platform suits my beliefs. I do think come Nov 5th this country will be in better with either man in charge. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Its kind of ignorant that people are pro-palin when they havent even seen an interview with her.. the only thing they go on is a speech (which she did not write) and what the GOP tells them, and like mindless drones they support her.. How can they say they support her when they Know NOTHING about her?? Just put a monkey in a suit and have him be the GOP VP and the Lemmings would support him.

I think experience is an overrated trait.

JFK once said; "they don't have a school for presidents". Although some worldly knowledge is probably a good thing.

What I know about Obama scares the hell out of me. And, if you think Obama does not have speech writers, you're kidding yourself.

No, no, no. Its Obama's own words that scare me:

"I will raise taxes on "rich" folks and businesses"
"I will raise the capital gains tax"
"The surge didnt work and isnt working"
"When does a baby get human rights? I'm sorry, that's above my pay grade. But, even though I admitedly dont know the answer, if elected I'll appoint liberal Supreme Court justices to make sure women who want to kill their babies in the future continue to have that right".

Oh, by the way, I reserve the right to change my mind on all of the above if it suits my political agenda at the time.

"If the economy is doing poorly, I'll keep the bush tax cuts in place"
"The surge is working...you got me on that one. Haha."
"I wish I hadnt said that stuff about abortion during the Saddleback forum...what was I thinking"?

You wanna vote for this clown?

Not me.

No way.

Clown? Nice responce. Clown is the moron who thought he could "stir" up emotions from idiots who think she represents women and the far right with her hard right views. She's far from a smart choice as well as him. LOL has to refrain from interview's because the media is Rough on her. truth hurts and time will show her Smart's or lack thereof on both of them. real easy to throw out one-liners but jeez whe someone questions the Rifle totting dummy it's "sexist". thats BS and so is that ticket. Enjoyed the last eight years did you?

yea the education is a plus. harvard law is the premier law school in the country. i think his class voted him most likely to be president to. palin went to some shit like 6 schools and took 6 years to complete her bachelors. more white trash redneck typical act. i dont know where biden went.

Swarthmore college is probably the best small liberal arts college in the US.
A long time ago I was sitting with some candidates for admission before interview and thinking my college boards were certainly sufficient for entrance but every one I talked to had over 700 in Math & English so after that I wasn't surprised by my non acceptance.

Micheal Dukakis was a Swarthmore alumnus. It didn't bring him the girth of being to be elected. Dukakis is a bigtime professor nowadays and thats where he is comfortable and belongs. Although Obama is no Dukakis when it comes to a "thurst for knowledge" he is a painter with the same brush. 3 years from now he'll be professor somewhere in an Illinois college along with his pal William Ayers! A Requiem for failed presidential candidates with intellectual aspirations.

He already was a professor for 12 years at U of Chicago Law School for constitutional law.
