Is everyone forgetting the Steelers still did not allow an offensive TD in the game against the Jets? Now I'm not predicting an outright victory for the Steelers, because there is no way you can discount the rookie QB factor. I will say this - the most impressive win for this Steelers team was not necessarily their victory over the Pats - it was what they did the very next week against the Eagles(with TO). They were primed for a HUGE letdown, after ending the Pats 19 game win streak. That just shows the character of this team as opposed to the Steeler choke teams of years past. Also, speaking of revenge as a motivation, does anyone not think that the fact that the Steelers are underdogs in their own crib a possible source of motivation as well? And please don't tell me that they don't pay attention to those things. Like I said, I'm not saying the Steelers are going to win, I just don't think it is as cut and dried as most people do.

As far as the Pats having smarter players if you played/coached any sports and were any good you would understand this statement...Sports need you to be athletic but being intelligent in your sport makes you a better player...Just running around fast and hitting people does not get it done if you want to win...

With Belichick he needs cerebral, smart football players who will understand exactly what he is trying to do, that is why the Pats have had so much success...Everybody is on the same page and knows exactly what the other player is doing that is why they make so many big plays and win so
consistantly...
