I have decided to Quit

Drink 2-5 cans of coke / pepsi each day. Healthy as a horse.

Except for my COPD which sucks. I did quit smoking. Made a deal with God. Wish I did it long ago.

when did you quit smoking ??

Cold turkey. Deal with God. If we ever meet at Saratoga or somewhere, I'll tell you the full story. Over pizza and coke. haha

WOW, hven't heard someone smoking that much since my Uncle back in the 60's. think he did 3-4 packs a day ( Lucky Strikes )

I did smoke a pack a day up until earlier this year, down to about a half a pack
I'm going Cold Turkey as well.

Yeah Pizza and a Coke. lol
Wonder what I'm going to do now when it comes to Pizza night, guess I'll find out Friday !!

Not in PA it isn't!! In fact it is treated so heavily that it will kill you over time. "REAL" spring water (not purified) is the only H20 you should drink. Just make sure there is a spring source listed on the label.

It is so dank with pizza I don’t know why. Other than that, fuck soda. Shit is terrible for you and not worth it. Lot of other shit I’d rather poison myself with.

I love diet dr pepper and buy the little bottles occasionally but feel like a slob for drinking them. usually i'll "cut" gatorade or other flavored sports drink with sparkling water. you should give it a try if you like the carbonation. either way, stay away from those sodas! happy holidays bud

and I have a feeling I will want a soda with Pizza as well. Don't think I've ever had anything else with Pizza ( maybe a Beer )

I quit years ago but not cold turkey. Nothing like a Coke or 7up to wash down a pizza, burger or foods like that. I just have a few sips though. My good friend is a physician and he says it's 1 can a coke won't do much harm so I figure a few sips a day should be ok.

Now those new energy drinks those I'd stay away from cold turkey.

go online...buy a SodaStream for your counter top in the kitchen....get a 25 lb aluminum tank and for $25 you can have carbonated water for 6 + months...we have one and 4 grandkids my son and daughter in law drink about 3 liters a day between them...just squeeze I piece of fresh lemon or lime or an orange in it...taste gret...n sugar...all real

I get my Dr Pepper fix with Amaretto and coke. Tastes like DR Pepper but much better.
