Tony, I'm not kidding. I hate it. It takes me 3 1/4 hours each week to mow and weedeat and then clean up the sidewalks and shit. I really should pay someone to do it but my wife thinks it's one of those things husbands are supposed to do. Hell, Ward Cleavers' lawn could have been finished in about one hour or less. He seemed to be a good husband always painting the trash cans and looking very dapper. If Ward had my lawn he would have paid someone or had sex to get it done too. Tony, that is just a sad fact. I can't use a riding mower because my yard is heavily wooded with ins and outs and no long straight aways. I have to push mow....though the mower is at least self propelled. You know what...this really makes me realize that I am going to have a lawn service do my lawn. Yep.....I really think I am going to do that.

So, through all of this, two things come out: I'm a closet gay man that hates to mow his lawn and 2nd, I'm going to get a lawn service and put my gayness right back into the closet until a different need arises. tulsa

It seems my neighbors just get off on keeping pristine "country club" looking lawns that always look just ever so perfect. Some peer pressure at work here. I've whined about hiring a gardner but my wife says that the lawn is level and not huge so therefore it is mine to tend to. Two wasted hours each weekend...

It's not that big, though....it is about 1/2 to 3/4 acre but has lots of trees (23) and every one have to be gone around mowing and weedeating. I wish I were as rich as my lawn care needs might indicate, but I'm not. tulsa
