Like every NE/Manning game is 3 or less so I just assumed that that one was but you are right. Denver got off to that horrible start when Peyton was working his way back.
That 31-21 game wasn't as close as the score indicated either. NE ran all over them that day.
The other one I had in mind was that 15-6 playoff game vs the Ravens. People forget how stacked that Ravens D was that year, I think it was just as good as the '00 D but their offense was terrible. Indy run D was last in the NFL going into the playoffs so they weren't getting respect. Balt was like -5.5
Yeah I pounded Den at home vs Houston in that game actually. Got +3 late and thought Denver was underrated and Houston overrated. Unfortunately took Denver a few more weeks to gel and Houston a few more weeks to comeback to earth. Game really wasn't even competitive.
