I agree, I had no action on game or a fan of either team.
sorry but totally irrelevantPerfect angle elbow 1st to ground. Whatever ruling is? Looks like ground caused fumble so........ Karma rules
The way I would interpret the wording would make this a catch. He caught it at the 5 and made two steps and went 5 yards and changed hands and reached for the goal line. How is what he did not a catch? I would like to know.sorry but totally irrelevant
This is the official rule on receptions in the NFL:
"If a player goes to the ground in the act of catching a pass (with or without contact by an opponent), he must maintain control of the ball after he touches the ground, whether in the field of play or the end zone. If he loses control of the ball, and the ball touches the ground before he regains control, the pass is incomplete. If he regains control prior to the ball touching the ground, the pass is complete."

If you are interpreting it to the rule then he did not maintain control all the way down but fuck he went 5 yards, you gotta have better rules. He balled out during the biggest moment of the year.

He didn't lose control though. He had complete control the whole way. Just fumbled after he hit the ground.I don't watch games just follow so it's not a catch if he didn't regain control by rules....... Thanks

Lastly I gotta say Dez kinda F'd it up watching the replay. He had 2 hands on the ball and seems like he had the body control to comedown with it but he tried to reach for the endzone which ended up causing the loss of control. If he just tried to secure it and be down at the 2 I feel like he makes that play but we'll never know.
