I guess I need an ettiquette lesson in forum behavior. I have been around almost every aspect of gambling for longer than most of you have been alive.
When I found this site in oct. /04 it was a gold mine and fun to watch.
Been lurking ever since.
I thought you were just supposed to keep your mouth shut and observe.
Then it became apparant that you are supposed to post no matter how stupid.(won't mention any names)
Then it was a complete turn around, if you post your treated like the (PLAUGE,RED HEADED STEP CHILD) take your pick... there even money.
Anyway I will continue to lurk bbbbbb/c info is king and a man has to eat.

hey keyman...don't worry about people on here...just post what you have to say and hopefully it is related to the topic and just go from there...i don't post alot as i've been part of this mess four years now...i get good info as well as bad...just get on a guy when he's hot and back off when he cools...if you want to post your plays in the baseball thread you need to keep up with your record so folks can see how it is going for you...trust me if you get hot people will follow...there are some folks on this site that are horses asses but that goes with the territory...miserable fux in everyday life as well...but keep your head up and become a part of...the RX forums... take care and be cool...try to make it to the rx bash the weekend of aug 19 and 20...there you will be able to meet alot of these goobers....just a bunch of cool cats hanging out and talking sports...take care and be cool....jeffksu
Keyman..there are many nice people on this site..sorry you have had a bad experience...but its a tuff crowd, most are seasoned gamblers and can get moody ...but This is not a social nicey nice club many do not care if they hurt your feelings ..you just have to learn to go with the ebb and flow and talk to people you want to and leave others alone and take it
I have met 100's of posters at the previous 2 RX bashes and all are ok guys and gals....and MOST nothing like they are when they post all tuff...

it's one thing to care about what people think of you face-to-face, but you REALLY shouldn't care about that in an online forum! Just express your opinions, support them if questioned, check out the picks people make, make some of your own, and just banter with some good people on the site. you can't take too much offense to HOW people say stuff i.e. Tusks posts, that guy was just sayin what was on his mind, had his opinion which was a valid one, but u took offense. no point in being offended, after all it's an ONLINE POSTING FORUM.
We're all tryin to have fun and win some $$$, shit i'm a thread killer, people don't respond to my posts 99% of the time but if i let that get to me then that's just one more thing to stress over. Take it easy, enjoy yourself, post whenever you feel like, and if people want to comment, they will, if not, they won't. who cares, tomrorow post somethin else.
good thing i don't get TOO pissed about this stuff here at work, otherwise i'd be a terrible co-worker...

This is probably good insight as to why this board often takes on a somewhat nasty tone. Someone says something intended to be funny and the next thing you know there's talk of knocking off fucking heads and name calling.

wow, what a discouraging thread. I was really looking forward to participating on this board. looks like a great place to BS and maybe even learn a thing or two from other gamblers. I hope this sort of thing isnt typical for the board. maybe i'll go back to the newbie board where i belong...its safer in there

Don't come down here. This is where we all have our family arguments. Stick to the sports forums and enjoy. It's a good place, I promise. Down here, you're likely to think poorly of the human race. tulsa
