Couldn't happen with my set up. Online local with very few betting options (can't parlay 2 dogs) limited in game betting, tough odds, limited props. I could go offshore but choose not to deal with the headache since I'm a small player.

Find a new local that has Balls

I did not say they would succeed..... I said it is the only option of you live in the US. It is not a very good option to be honest..... anywhere is Europe would be a much better option (with access to Pinnacle, Betfair etc.). Obviously the vigs are tough to beat in Vegas..... I am not arguing that...... but there is no alternative right now if you live in the US.

I think what he's saying is you can Still live in the States outside of Vegas and do it.

i know a handful of people that do, clover already said how he does it ....I believe I'm included at a higher level than him, so it could be done.

there are other options out there, but you need to find those Solid outs.

Living outside Vegas and being a pro can be done.....but not by betting at -110, -115, and -120.......

Well certainly if you have a very reliable local then that is a different story as well.

Vegas will give one so many more options, it can only be a positive, IF one has their wits about them.

Most people live in a fantasy world believing they can make a living betting sports in Vegas, if one is going to do such, they best plan on working their ass off, being organized, being informed, being disciplined, have a sizable bankroll in place.

Also, one of the most under publicized attributes of being a successful professional gambler and living in this city, is having the ability to adapt to a multitude of changes one will face regularly, from, but not limited to, having limits cut, being banned, handling rough stretches, dealing with personal issues away from gambling, and if you go that route, managing your beards.
