justpay, that's kind of what I was getting at.

Sure, they boot some people-but VERY few....and there's probably a good reason for it.

I don't know of ANYone who has legitimately claimed to have been screwed by Pinny in any way-they are straight up & don't pull stunts.

I also think they are rock solid, but others will dispute that claim.

LMAO...

Who would respect your opinion enough to move a pre opening number?

I don't agree with this at all. They don't care how you bet but they do boot big winners.

BTW I like Pinnacle and I believe they are solid, no mistake about that. However (though I am not one) I know they have given winners the boot.

2 players i heard from that was booted was not because of winning.

-1 player was actually loseing
-other player winning small

They both did not have limits cut

They both beat the number on a consistent basis.

Justpay, so you're basically saying that they got booted for being steam chasers? Was that all they played?

DelMar doesn't boot anyone. When Larry just started, he got hit for over a $1,000,000 (million) by some guy. He borrowed, sold stuff anything to pay him. He did. 3 to 4 months later, the guy lost it all back along with more. That's how he got started. One of the most honest individuals in this business. Period!

Call me crazy, but I like books that book within their means. The ones who have to do everything under the sun to pay players are good guys, but what if in the end they can't pay everyone off?

You've got a valid point there Laker. For sure many would have simply walked away so no doubt a strong move on his part but a book shouldn't expose themselves to these levels. Lay if off or something, nothing wrong with that especially if you are new. Takes a while to build the roll up.

Justpay - I will take your word for it, I have been wrong before.

In my post, Del Mar in listed as one of the rare shops, that won't kick winners out.

I know of instances where other BMs have borrowed, even at street rates, to pay their obligations, only to emerge stronger.

"I don't agree with this at all. They don't care how you bet but they do boot big winners." P.M.

What are you basing this on???

TTinco,Jazz, everyone that is starting this stereo type about sia booting people at a certain point, how do you know this as well???
Just because you, or someone, or everyone, got booted at a certain point, does not mean there are others who have managed to take out alot more long term.
Your recommendations to beat them as fast you can, get booted, and then be done just doesn't make alot of financial sense to me...

To the topic, the smart books want the sharp players so they can make money on there plays as well... Its pretty simple.

No doubt about it. BM's have been borrowing money from shylocks and others since the beginning of time. Not unusual by any means.
