Id hope you read up on companies beyond the blips on a screen. And to clarify what I meant by recession- proof was the company did show growth and was certainly not folding during bad economic times.

EMC is the storage technology leader and has been for some time.

At least in Charlotte, NC, headquarters of both B of A and Wachovia business couldnt be better.

Most major compaines due to Sarbanes- Oxley must increase their data storage capacity 50% a year.

EMC is not going anywhere.

Some of their acquisitions, primarily, VM Ware's stock, is hurting EMC.

Along with the loss in confidence in that market in general creates a low stock price.

EMC is showing steady growth even now however.

Besides originally this was about hiring, so Woof can you tell me by your graph EMC is not hiring and growing?
