I am going to Vegas for the first time this summer. Any tips?

don't get suckered into attending one of those time share meetings, I did and wasted two hours of my time just to get some free tickets to a show. longest two hours I ever spent. The sales people are relentless and everywhere it seems on the street.

I like the Palms for gambling and eating at the Belliago buffet. It is awesome and the steaks at Circus Circus are out of sight. Emeril's Delmonico is a must dining experience, just bring your wallet as it is $$$.

InSpades- Las Vegas is the most overated vacation destination in the entire world. I hope you enjoy your stay but I wouldn't have picked the summer to come here. It's way too hot. Make sure you bring your laptop or cell phone so you can bet offshore. Sports betting has been discouraged here for quite some time.

Inspades- Don't listen to the guys that live there, if you're planning a vacation. They're used the crazy world that is Las Vegas, and it's probably not exciting if it is your everyday life. Everyone I know has not been the least disappointed in a Vegas vacation. There is no such thing as work, boredom, or anything like that if you are on vacation there. Regardless of the heat, you will have a great time. Just seeing the Strip will blow your mind the first time. And walking thru the casinos is entertaining. You can drink, gamble, relax, swim, pick up girls, go to shows, and just hang with your buddies. There are no clocks, no time whatsoever. You sleep when you want to, but only if you want to. I would not want to live there, but it never gets old visiting. Have a great time!

Inspades- Go to Tuscany Suites Casino on Flamingo Rd on Friday and Saturday nights. You can walk there from Bally's, just head east from the Strip. They have $5 and $10 bikini blackjack pits with hot dealers. It's a great time with you and your buddies all playing!

Tuscany got rid of their bikini blackjack pit a few months ago. They may bring it back come football season. On the positive note, Ellis Island is taking over management of the Tuscany, so that may mean some good meal deals and value there.

Vegas is great! So much to see! Great food!Just don't gamble much, the odds are horrible nowadays, especially on the strip. My advice is to enjoy yourself while seeing the sights, and let the other visitors who gamble alot subsidize your trip by helping pay for all the sights with their losses.

My advice is if you are going to gamble, eat, or go to strip clubs do your research. That means learn how to play the games you will be gambling at, find out which clubs or restaurants are the best value and you will enjoy the most. That way you will have a good time and will save lots of money. Nothing irks me more than ignorant tourists who bitch and moan that they can't win when they clearly have no clue what they are doing.
