In September, the Obama campaign collected $2,199,204.38 in donations with non-existent or invalid ZIP codes. The Romney campaign’s September total: just $29,620.

The revelation comes from a Government Accountability Institute (GAI) report to be issued tomorrow that combed the Federal Election Commission (FEC) data to determine the effectiveness of each campaign’s donation security system.
“The use of a robust Address Verification System (AVS) would significantly minimize donations with invalid zip codes from slipping through the net,” said GAI President Peter Schweizer. “When you use your credit card at a pay-at-the-pump gas station, you have to enter your zip code. Enter the wrong number or none at all, your transaction is denied. If that’s the standard to buy gas, surely it’s reasonable to expect the same for donating to federal candidates.”
Obama for America claims it does, in fact, use an AVS system to process its online donations, as well as a “manual process to review any transaction flagged by AVS.” But as e-commerce experts note, AVS systems have a range of settings that allow wide latitude in determining which transactions will be blocked or accepted.
Since February 2012, the Obama campaign has received a total of $2,983,854.78 in donations with invalid ZIP codes, versus the Romney campaign’s $244,287.01—a figure one-twelfth of Obama’s.
The GAI report also includes an analysis of the 2008 presidential campaign. There again, the Obama campaign collected far more donations with invalid ZIP codes than did Republican presidential challenger Sen. John McCain. The figures: $2,778,808.97 for Obama and $431,046 for McCain.
Earlier this month the GAI released its 108-page report, America The Vulnerable: Are Foreign and Fraudulent Online Campaign Contributions Influencing U.S. Elections?, which found that nearly half (47.3%) of the U.S. Congress have donation websites lacking basic anti-fraud protections that make them vulnerable to foreign and fraudulent online donations.
The GAI investigation also revealed that Obama.com is owned by an Obama bundler living in China with business ties to the Chinese government.

why didnt anything come of this? lies

I said half the shit was lies and half truths and look at the ones I just posted. Tebow tweet was 100 percent lie. Obama donation was another lie. I will find more, there is no doubt. This thread is full of bullshiit. The last 3 pages are allegations and haven't gone to court yet. When they get thrown out you won't even mention it. Sad what you have become here. Just a robot political hack.

Everything you say is a lie, and everyone in here knows it. Why do you even bother to post?

Oh, thanks again for bumping this great thread. Keep reading it, even though you said many times you don't.

You the board spokesman? You are getting battered in several threads. Do you realize that you have 90 percent of the posts and views in this thread?

Why do you keep lying about me reading this thread? The more you lie doesn't mean it becomes true.

Best thread...lmao...if you and I don't post in here...this thread is dead.

[h=2]Seconds after the awful events at Sandy Hook; Democrats, Barack Obama, and the media assured America that their immediate exploitation of the tragedy wasn't only about gun grabbing. Oh no, they assured us, this was going to be an all-of-the-above national debate. Furthermore, Vice President Biden's commission would be an all-of-the-above look everything, including the entertainment culture.[/h] Do you remember that? I realize a week's a lifetime in politics, but do you remember the news media just last week reporting about how Biden was meeting with video game designers and Hollywood to discuss the effect of Hollywood's love affair with violence on our culture? Do you remember all the way back to last month, when the media itself was paying lip service to the idea that Hollywood has some 'splaining to do with respect to the ole' ultra-violence?
Good times.
Except…
Today, not a word, not a sound, not a peep came from Biden or Obama about restricting films, video games, or the entertainment industry in any way whatsoever. What we saw instead was Obama stand before the nation and announce that all his "all-of-the-above" rhetoric was nothing but a hustle, a lie, a con, a sham… Every single proposal enacted by the president today through executive order and every single one of his legislative proposals, was aimed at only thing: restricting the Second Amendment.

What we also saw was Hollywood once again receiving the freest, sweetest, plumpest pass since, well, last week, when they did the same with all that rich-paying-their-fair-share nonsense.
Oh, it's a good day to be Harvey Weinsten. Not only can he can continue to make gajillions off the ole' ultra-violence, but there are tax incentives to do it with!
It's just a fact that no one -- including the media -- was ever serious about doing anything other than exploiting a national tragedy as a way to punish the NRA, restrict the freedoms of gun owners less inclined to vote Democrat, and demonize a culture of law-abiding, gun owners; most of whom live in states that had the temerity to vote for someone other than Barack Obama.

Last year in Chicago, more poor black people were killed by handguns than the total number of those killed in all of the mass shootings over the last decade. But no one wants to take handguns off the streets.

This is all about the left's ongoing culture war against Americans they don't like, and has absolutely nothing to do with saving lives.
For the record, I'm as opposed to restricting Hollywood every bit as much as I'm opposed to restricting law-abiding gun owners. What I'm pointing out here is that Obama and his media minions wilfully and intentionally lied to us.

That might be nothing new, but it's still worth noting.

[h=2]The media's not only stopped trying to hide their unprofessional and childish left-wing biases, they’re not even trying to hide The Crazy anymore. Here's "venerated" CBS newsman Bob Schieffer after Obama's gun control speech today:[/h] --

--
BOB SCHIEFFER: ...Let's remember: there was considerable opposition when Lyndon Johnson went to the Congress and...presented some of the most comprehensive civil rights legislation in the history of this country. Most people told him he couldn't get it done, but he figured out a way to do it. And that's what Barack Obama is going to have to do...what happened in Newtown was probably the worst day in this country's history since 9/11. We found Osama bin Laden. We tracked him down. We changed the way that we dealt with that problem. Surely, finding Osama bin Laden; surely passing civil rights legislation, as Lyndon Johnson was able to do; and before that, surely, defeating the Nazis, was a much more formidable task than taking on the gun lobby.
As Newsbusters reports, Schieffer then pushed hard for Obama and Democrats to keep fighting for gun control:
SCHIEFFER: This is a turning point in this country, and the President is going to have to do more than just make a speech about it. This is one of the best speeches I've ever heard him deliver, but it's going to take more than that from the White House. He's going to have to get his hands dirty. He's going to have to get in there and – and work this problem until he gets it done. But unless we figure out a way to make sure that something like Newtown never happens again, we're not the country that we once were. I think we still are. I think there's hope. I think something's going to happen here.
Bob Schieffer -- just another left-wing, Republican-despising loon who got himself some media credentials and a television show. And a presidential debate moderator!
Remember when the media frowned on Nazi comparisons? Good times.

"Obama is an elitist hypocrite"

[h=1]NRA airs new TV ad criticizing Obama on eve of White House gun announcement[/h]Posted by
CNN Political Director Mark Preston Washington (CNN) - The National Rifle Association released a new television commercial Tuesday night charging President Barack Obama of hypocrisy for being "skeptical" about placing armed guards at schools, while his own two daughters are protected by the U.S. Secret Service.
"Are the president's kids more important than yours?" a narrator says in the 30 second ad. "Then why is he skeptical about putting armed security in our schools, when his kids are protected by armed guards at their school."

The commercial is running on the Sportsman Channel, a cable network focused on outdoors programming such as hunting and fishing. It is also posted on a dedicated web site "Stand and Fight."
On Wednesday, Obama is set to unveil a new set of proposals that would place very tough restrictions on the ownership and sale of firearms.
In the ad, the narrator only mentions Obama by name, but it also features images of Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and NBC anchor David Gregory. Bloomberg is an influential voice in favor of stricter gun laws and has dipped into his personal fortune to help fund a lobby campaign, and Feinstein, a California Democrat, is helping spearhead a congressional effort to enforce tougher gun laws.
Gregory questioned NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre in a December interview about the effectiveness of the organization's proposal to put armed guards in schools. After the interview, the NRA and conservative media outlets noted that Gregory's children attended the same school as Obama's daughters and the school has a security department.
"Mr. Obama demands the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes," the narrator says. "But he is just another elitist hypocrite when it comes to a fair share of security. Protection for their kids and gun-free zones for ours."
The introduction of Obama's children into the gun debate further demonstrates the high stakes in this very complicated and emotional issue about how to weigh Second Amendment rights with the safety of citizens following several high profile killings, including the recent massacre of 20 children and six educators at a Newtown, Connecticut elementary school.
As advocates for new gun restrictions pledge to pressure Congress to pass new laws, the NRA and other like-minded gun rights groups and conservative organizations have said they will fight any changes to the current gun laws.
"Stand and fight sums up what Americans need to do to preserve our Second Amendment freedom," NRA spokesman Andrew Arulanandam told CNN.
The NRA is not ruling out expanding the buy to air the commercial elsewhere.
The group, which had an existing partnership with the Sportsman Channel, has added an NRA hosted daily weekday program to the network's lineup.

I don't think she rolled her eyes because of Boehner, but rather, she knew she had to put the fork down and stop eating.
