Many scientific studies, as in all save for one, have concluded there are benefits from use of the drug
This one article didn't use the drug as recommended, didn't combine it with other drugs as recommended, and even gave it to gravely ill individuals on it's own, which scientists already concluded was not affective
So they didn't prove anything new, and they actually let people die giving them treatments already known to be failures

treatments are highly effective for younger, healthier people. But epidemiologists are still
demanding more study before fully endorsing it.

they didn't even apply the treatment as recommended, the people who are in advanced stages of the disease are supposed to receive hydroxychloroquine along with other medicines. They proved something scientists already knew, and they essentially let people die
The combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin to treat the coronavirus has not been proven safe and effective through large scale clinical trials. There is only anecdotal evidence from case reports in countries overseas. Promising them as miracle drugs gives false hope

I repeatedly warned the medical community that the use of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin to treat COVID-19 was unethical because there was no evidence it worked but real evidence it caused heart problems. Sad to see Dr. Bright suffer career consequences for doing the same.

It all does make sense when we realize no one here ever cares about having a rational discussion or listening to anyone and the only thing people here care about is arguing as much as possible.
