......4 days of LONG candles as volatility is wild. On the ES chart (cant post it here) a higher high and higher low with an apprx 50% re-trace of yesterday's candle.

what does the chart/candles say? the chart is void of bias, the graphic depiction of investor pshychology
inside candle on the ES, it MAY end as a bullish engulfing candle.
on the SPY;
- lost the 200 sma yesterday ,........ opens well above it comes back to test intra-day and BOUNCES OFF IT. She is now trying to re-claim her 8 ema. In general , for short term moves, its better to be buying when price is ABOVE the 8 ema. (Another great time to buy is when its severely far away from its 8 ema AND on a bullish candle ,we had that last Friday. its hasnt been above the 8 ema since the bloodbath )
-length of todays candle much smaller on the SPY, ....volatility decreasing . HOWEVER , the VIX is over 30, lol, so hardly out of crazy swing territory
lets see the close, can she reclaim her 8 ema? or violently rejected? a close above the 200 sma is very very good for the bulls

this week has to hold last week's low. We know sellign is slowly down if the week ends with an inside candle and LOWER vol. If this happens, then more serious bad news will be needed to send the market to a lower low
this is what happened; an inside candle on the weekly and lower volume, with a small gain for the SPY on the week.
again nothing chnages for the much worse until (if) $285 is taken out, the chart is crystal clear. there are a ton of stops just below that level, lol.

Friday ends with a good candle. VIX at these levels presents nutty swings . Fear is at great heights. The last 15 min of the day basically saw a 1% move on the SPY. Its BELOW its 200 sma not good.

...its either bounce off this familiar bounce area , or bye bye. On the daily chart, the candle was ugly . OIL lost 9% today....Dow component XOM is so battered its unrecognizableblew through friday's low, actually gapped down violently, insane day on the markets. Futures market halted,...halted again at the open

today's action was very good and that candle/set-up under NORMAL circumstances (only the 2008 meltdown saw higher VIX levels) is bullish, probability on the side of the bulls ; hammer pattern with a green body, tested a support, bounced off it, re-claimed a previous support. Green light. The bad: VIX at insane levels, below the 200 sma, below the 8 ema. Futures look ugly, an inside candle tomorrow would be okay. Infact , its a buying opportunity near the close with a stop just below yesterday's low. Lets see what tomorrow brings. ......... a negative headline of further spread or whatever and a break of $275 could be at play which chnages the game

the weekly candle looked awesome at Tuesday's close ; $275, the last standing support level before falling off a cliff was defended and moved up to re-claim $285...... a long beauty green candle.....unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your view Trump capitulated, shut her all down... lost $275 a BLOODBATH and in no man's land, Dec 2018 low's in clear sight. Thursday was classic -- capitulation day; EVERYTHING was red; bonds , commodities, equities, MASSIVE sell off....even had a couple of halts.........no where to hide........... portfolio managers in the fetal position........
ECB and German's comin' out today and joing the Fed/Japan ; we are throwin the kitchen sink at this. Inflate or die
the VIX is at extraordinary levels, the dust has hardly settled. Nobody knows the time table for being in the clear , ....but surely next week cant be more nutty?
