By the look of that hurricane that is hitting they could use the muscles of a guy like JJ down there to help save people trapped under giant boards and rocks...

Another plus is that he doesn't have to bend over to get under the boards that have fallen. I think you may be onto something. His low center of gravity finally has a use.
