most of the guys still posting at rxforum are still real dudes w likely 90% similar beliefs and a range of strong differences within that other 10% of life

I’d say the Overton window and ability to discuss topics that aren’t in the PC range is way better on here since there is no fear of any type of cancel culture from friends, family, co-workers.

I'm not sure how you say corona is no threat to my kids. There have been recent cases in both of their schools regarding covid. There is a girl in my son's class who recently tested positive. What if my son contacted it from here (he goes to school virtually while she physically goes to school). What if he gave that to me? Then i'm not able to work for the next 2 weeks minimum. What if i didnt know if i had it? My parents were at my house the other day? What if I gave it to them as they are not in the "best" health.

That is the crap that goes through my mind. People on here want to call me names and all that, thats fine. I dont care. I'm just trying to be safe for myself and my family as i live close to a lot of family and NOT everyone is in good health (unfortunately from kids to senior citizens who arent in the best health)

But before anyone sheds a tear (or calls me a pussy under their breath), what if we did a better job of controlling COVID where once July/August started, we'd be free again to do our day to day (where i live many things are still either locked down or coming back slowly). Maybe MORE people would have either voted in person or early voted instead of mailing in their ballots?

I usually early vote. This year, i went in person on Tuesday morning to vote. Is the democratic party getting a lot worse? Oh hell yes they are.
