a resumption of the 1991 war.....that was ended with a cease fire provided that iraq complied with all conditions.....unfortunately france,germany,russia and china complotted to disregard the agreement based on economic interests and the desire to undermine the united states,and hamstringing the u.n. with potential vetos and roadblocks....if these countries had stayed the course,saddam would now be gone...... the last time i checked,france,germany and russia do not determine united states defense and foreign policy.....this war will be difficult to win...and i agree with the garofalo`s on this forum,that in hindsight,it really doesn`t look like a very good idea....especially considering the fact that we are fighting another politically correct war that will cost many more of our boys lives than would have been necessary....the powers that be had to know that there would be a possiblity that we`d end up fighting this type of war....and if they knew that,we should never have gone in.....if they didn`t consider it,knowing they were going to fight a half-assed sanitary war,they should be thrown out on their asses...
