The Big 10 shouldn't be a problem for them this year. Get by MSU in their division and they are home free. The other teams are simply too far behind them at this point. In a couple years things could be different. But right now OSU is the Bama of the Big 10.

They are hands down the favorite. But the meat of their schedule is the final 3 games. MSU, Mich, Big Ten title game. You can damn well bet they are going to be coming off two very physical games before getting to Indy.

Getting the two big games at home is huge, but they have to play at Minn, which is a tough physical team and at PSU in November (no easy task). I'd also say that Utah and BYU are tough OOC games....of course that has nothing to do with the B10.

Harbaugh doesn't lose to Mormons. Remember he was the qb pre Peyton.

I assume your intent is, "who from the West can actually beat Ohio St?" Wisconsin or Nebraska. The reason I like them is, Wisconsin should have the easiest of transitions, same DC and Chryst who should have them re-invested in the power run game.... I think Wisconsin put too much resources in running two QB's and getting the QB run game involved. That's not their style. They still have QB issues, and they have holes to fill on the Oline, but they are the kind of team by years end that can be tough to stop. Nebraska's biggest plus will a change in defensive philosophy. Instead of geared more to defending the spread-out, passing teams in a run-heavy division (it wasn't just Wisconsin running it down their throats, it was Minnesota and Iowa as well), they will be more attacking, which considering the talent level especially on the Dline, will make for a much more disruptive defense vs the power teams. Plus they get both Wisc and MSU at home. By years end, if Riley can do his magic with the QB (this has as much to do with the turnover bug Nebraska had for 7 years), they could have a pretty good team.

It seems like teams who everyone expects to walk right into titles usually don't. OSU had a lot of breaks last year. Don't know if they'll be as fortunate this year.

Michigan +1300 is not bad value despite questions at QB. The talent has been on the roster, but the coaching has not. Now that second half of the equation is fixed. Would not be at all surprised to see them make a real run at a B1G title.

Mich talent is waaaaaaay down, they will scheme their way to 8 wins and that's it.

Michigan has actually has had great recruiting and the talent is there....just had no one to coach it up until now.
