How should this have been scored

Every week a bet a super teaser for the NFL. 4 teams 13 pts at -140.

I bet $28 to win $20

This week (before the postponement) I had the chiefs on my teaser. I also had the packers on MNF.

Once the chiefs game was postponed, that 1 leg of the tease already said "push" but my play was still pending. I just figured the odds would change like $28 to win 14 or something like that. I know when i have a big ML parlay with a bunch of teams and a games gets cancelled, my play is still "on" but with reduced odds.

I won my other 2 games on sunday so i still had a $28 pending play as of yesterday. The packers covered.

I check my daily figures today and see that the bet was graded as a push.

I did not read house rules on how games would be graded.

How should have my play been graded?

It falls under the category of special teaser which does not reduce down to the next number .
If you would have lost any of the other bets it would have been a loser

So if i win, i get nothing and if 1 of those games lost, i lose my $28?

I’m not saying I agree with it I’m just telling you what the rules state .
I think the entire bet should be cancelled but that’s not what the rules say .

Wow

Exact same situation.

Probably during my lunch break, i'll check out the rules. Thats such a crappy rule

I don’t disagree. It is a bad rule but when you read them you gonna see they graded it correctly according to the rules .

Fortunately you won the other 3

If it was a standard teaser that is correct .

Was it standard ?

a 4 team 13 point falls under the special teaser category and has different rules

When you bet "sweetheart" teasers of 14 points, you never get any breaks.
Might be time to just bet day of the game during these times.

It is bullshit because you get free-rolled.

Easy solution since the rule is standard. Don't play them. Or play just before game time.

The problem is it is relatively rare so not playing them is stupid
Also, if your best teaser is 1pm
4pm
8pm

You can't guarantee one won't be suspended

The rule that makes sense is it is a no bet or you are allowed to change out the team
These books know this so just saying don't play them is dumb
Easier to call out theri bullshit but they are unlikely to change it
Especially true if people like you are just going to say it is a rule so play it at your own risk

I mean that is always the case
But when you play offshore there is a risk so whatever you run your balance up to.....if you don't get paid...welll you shouldn't have played offshore to begin with
See how dumb that is

On a related note...

At heritage a push gets reduced to a lower payout rate and the vig is -120
