Yes they are so many great players and teams that many of the youngsters have never seen play. Elgin Baylor played for little Seattle and led them to the Championship game where they lost to Kentucky. He averaged over 31 points over his college career and led the nation in rebounding as I recall. In his prime, He was a joy to watch ! Bart Starr of the Green Bay Packers is another one of those greats that always gets overlooked because 3 of his 5 National championships came just prior to them changing the name from NFL Championship to Super Bowl Championship. It's as though they didn't happen ! I recall John Wooden's first Championship when He won with guys like gail goodrich, Walt Hazzard and a 6 ft. 5 In. Center whose name was Patterson I think. Mr Wooden would always sit on the bench and his biggest sign of emotion was rolling up his program tightly. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Seattle after UCLA's last Championship in Seattle.
