He must be literally crazy.

The one thing I can think of was he was absorbing an expected him to himself all though getting out of the way makes more sense.

Was watching PTI and they addressed this today on the show but I fell asleep before that segment came on.....It's hell getting old.

Yeah, its' big news around the net now. My question is, for those who were watching the game live: Did you notice this as it happened? What was your reaction? Did the announcers discuss it and show highlights of it after the play? If so, what did they say?

Just curious if it was something that people dug up later, or if it was so blatant on national tv that all the viewers were like WTF

Lol. Well, it could be that he found himself in a bad position and rather than get leveled by the running back he decided to put his weight into the ball carrier to absorb the impact.

na, it looks like hes already locking in on the qb when hes still a few yards away, he evn sort of runs towards him. no way he couldnt have gotten out of the way

They just talked about it during temple game and the announcer said he was delievering hit before being hit and once a linebacker always a linebacker.

Game was a push and tempel looked like crap but their defese won the game.

Definitely not deliberate. Looks like he didn't recognize the player coming towards him actually had the ball. Also was trying to avoid the tackler coming from behind him.
