Knightrofins, I have no problem with anything you said, as I'm all about personal freedoms and choices just as you stated.

I would just like to point out one thing. Masks don't prevent you from getting sick, they are good at preventing you from spreading the virus

Thoughtful and unselfish of Knightrofins to think about others in regards to Covid well said. In regards to Willie's point masks do help with pollution. Plus helpful against awful smells which one can encounter in NYC from garbage waiting to be picked up. I think they're a plus against season allergies too. I use to laugh and shake my head when I would see people of Asian ancestry wearing masks pre-pandemic but now I get it.

younger but not too young. It makes my wife happier so as the govt doesn’t control me, my wife does :)

I feel better as wearing a mask (my thoughts) minimizes the chances of me getting sick

am I right? Who knows. South Florida (my neck of the woods) still has a lot of people still wearing masks so it’s “kinda” normal

I still see my parents and afraid for them to get it. Especially if they got it from me.

my life hasn’t been that horrible this past year (although it hasn’t been that much fun).

wearing a mask (for now)isn’t going to change my life. But I’ll admit, I should be in a Disney park today but didn’t want to go as I don’t want to wear a mask. We have a cruise planned for this summer and we are considering changing it b/c we don’t want to wear masks.

so I guess long story short, if we are going shopping, we wanna wear a mask
if we are having fun and not around people, we don’t want to wear a mask.

we are considering having people over for a pool party bbq either Sunday or Monday and I’m flip flopping back and forth if I want people in my house and how many

I’m not telling anyone what to do. We are all adults.

I hear ya. I actually didnt mind wearing it during soccer season (dec-feb) as the weather got cooler and it was flu season. Plus i'm at the fields 5x a week so didnt mind wearing it as i was BS'ing with friends. Baseball (Feb-last week) was a different animal and i had my mask on me but didnt fully wear it 100% as it was hot as shit outside and i'd stay within distance from people (i put it on when i felt necessary but never too long of a time)

Wearing a mask was fine as i didnt want to get anyone sick.

Not going to lie, to this day when i see someone sneeze or cough without wearing a mask, i cringe a little

Please note that before covid if i saw someone sneeze or cough, i would cringe

My germaphobe ass (thank you Mrs. Knight) was crazy pre-covid so funny that not much changed during covid.

Well off to have have a fun family 4 day weekend. My wife brought an extra large purse to hold our masks and about a zillion wipes haha

"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said for the first time, writing in a scientific bulletin posted to its website this week that “the benefit of masking is derived from the combination of source control and personal protection for the mask wearer.” Masks are neither completely selfless nor selfish — they help everyone."

November 2020.

That was known almost half a year ago.

You are well named Mr Simpleton. That comment & post just displays your ignorance. Evidently you still haven't learned that infection numbers are a result of multiple variables. For example if covidiocy increases, covid infections may still continue to increase even with a mask mandate, yet without that mandate the infection numbers & deaths would have been even worse. But i suppose this goes way over your head.

Masks prevented more infections & deaths in Kentucky than what would have occurred without masks.

The scientific evidence says masks save lives.

If you're going to post news of everyone that dies from AZ vaccine, I hope you will do the same for all other causes of deaths, lest anyone suspect you have an agenda."
