The New York Police Department reports first two deaths from coronavirus.

Now the klan will get upset and think this is a big deal now. This will help put things in perspective for Enflameo, Rednose, Harvey, and more

This is for people that had money invested in vacations. We already know the stats. A ton other threads for that. But thanks.

Already was supposed to be in New Orleans for a work trip earlier this month. Obviously that was cancelled and thank god it was. Another work trip to DC also was cancelled last month.

Mammoth Cave and Smoky Mountains during May. We've already decided to stay home since the resorts had free cancellation.

Not holding my breath for entering Vegas contests this August. If the second wave of CV is worse than the first, I don't think NFL will play.

As long as my job holds up and we all don't die from CV, the extra vacation and cash will make for a more enjoyable 2021.

Tourism based businesses worldwide are totally F*CKED! The bright side is the rock bottom deals that will soon be available.

no reason for someone like the coward to be in a thread where people have vacation plans.. He wasn't going anywhere.. Beltway runs aren't exactly travel plans

We aren't all gonna die. You or I might, but not all of us.

And that extra cash will be nice. If you or I have an income stream next year. If we don't, then that discretionary income goes to keeping the bills paid. 1st world problems. It sucks. But we have all been spoiled too long. It's not pleasant, but a dose of reality is coming for many of us.

Regarding all of us dying - no shit Sherlock.

It was sarcasm. Something that many here fail to realize.

Oh, I caught it. It was extreme sarcasm to prove a point.

Next time, I'll put a :):)before I respond to your post to make sure you understood that I understood your sarcasm. That we ALL are gonna die. Just to make sure you understood that I don't think we are ALL gonna die.

Good God...

Opentable canceled our May 26th reservation at a steakhouse in Aruba. We didn't cancel. They did. They know something we don't know?

Hmmmmm...

Maybe they do, or maybe the restaurant closed, or maybe they booked a wedding or some event

BLT at the Ritz has an awesome bone-in-ribeye if you've never been, although it's a little pricey. Hope for the best

This too will pass

Sure you did. All of this nanny type posting is hilarious.

Summer vacations for a lot of us in the more heavily locked down areas will be limited to a weekly corner store beer run. Hopefully this site remains afloat, because without NFL this year, November election discussions will fill some time.

Araba trip? Gone.

So booked Hawaii instead. Decided to nix that. Too much up in the air with quarantine thing. Not sure if when they will lift the mandatory 14 day quarantine so don't want to take the risk.

Safest move looked like going to the South. They are already opening things up. So booked two separate trips. A Memphis/Tunica/New Orleans trip in June that we booked before all this nonsense started. Now recently added a Charleston/Savannah trip in July.

At this point, I'm just glad it looks like we will be able to go anywhere/do anything.

BA cancelled my June London flights with full refund a couple weeks back. Gonna use that found $ to resurface the patio. Fuck it.
Good luck DD

Hawaii 6/16 - 6/20
St Thomas VI - 07/16 - 07/22

Hawaii's gone. May try again for Vegas in August. Still holding out hope for the Caribbean.
