How many have summer vacation plans that look all but done because of this nonsense?

Not all that important in the grand scheme of things. We all have much bigger things to worry about.

A vacation seems like a pipe dream right now. Just like many things we have taken for granted (like sports, toilet paper, etc.), when we finally get life back to normal I bet most of us will come to appreciate things we enjoy so much more.

Already had a road trip up through the Bay Area and over to Tahoe over spring break canceled. Now I would say our family vacation to Aruba in late May is hanging by a thread. Was going to be our first trip to the Caribbean too. Was really looking forward to it.

Wife and I also have a Memphis/Tunica/New Orleans trip booked for late June. I would say that's looking pretty bleak as well. As we sit here today on 3/27, I'd put the Aruba trip at a 1% chance of happening and the other trip maybe 10%.

We always book St George Island Florida for this time. Put down non-refundable $12,000 on a house. We cancelled the trip, but since the Florida governor just declared today that there will be no rentals, we may have an out and just use it for next year

Vegas cancelled last week 0%
Dallas in May 20%
Hong Kong this summer 1%
Vegas in May and August on hold 30%/80%
hopefully Philippines in Oct will be still on 50%

I capped your chances with these in BOLD.

Chances of domestic travel much higher than international travel. Chances based on whether or not planes will be flying and the economy is by and large back open enough in those places to even make it worth it. Not based on your decision to go if it's open and good to go.

not counting on anything at this point.. got vouchers for Vegas and Dallas.. other trips were just in the works.. might make Vegas a road trip in May depending on circumstances

Right now, they let us re-book to last 2 weeks of August, see how that goes

I like your chances that the trip is gonna happen at the end of August. If that's what you are cheering for.

Depending on your situation with income right now, some people would be cheering for a full refund no matter what.

Seems your leisure travel time will now be best split between DD Valley and Box Canyon

I'm scheduled in May to go to my Condos w/ friends and family (8)....Ft Myers

got Air Fare 37 each way .....but...the beach is CLOSED...restaurant's closed...

what's the point...I know the pool is still open but...

Hell, why fly 2.5 hours when I can cook here (Illinois) with the same outcome ...minus the pool...

We shall see...

Income is not the issue, what ever happens happens. It's just so hot in August and it's the same time I do my minor league baseball tour depending on where my summer boys are playing. Just a pain in the ass no matter what
