It's J Deuce making the "guarantee" though, so the "guarantee" is as meaningless as any other thing he posts here. This is a guy who legit thinks Humans have only lived on Earth for 2000 Years, among other gems. :):) Any Future several months out is a crapshoot. I believe his future is a Derby Horse, but whether Derby Horse, NBA Championship, NCAA Championship, Stanley Cup, 18-1 several months out is a poor bet. 60-1 is more like it, so I wish you well. I think the horse that ran yesterday and got DQ'd in the Fountain of Youth, Upstart, may be the horse to beat, but his odds are far too low, as are any of the other top 5 at this point.
Upstart is a very nice horse but until someone beats Dortmund, he is the one to beat. Saying 18-1 is a poor bet depends on a lot of things. I got Barbaro at 20-1 and I think I made a good bet with that winner considering he went off at 5-1. I have Dortmund at 20-1 this year. If Dortmund continues to improve with no major setbacks, he will be the Derby favorite. But I understand what you are trying to say. Normally for a future wager, you look for higher odds. But if you can find the eventual favorite at 18-1 months earlier, then it's not a poor bet.

Actually Undertaker only closed at like a 10-1 fav I remember. I remember cause I bet it with a friend. I took the Undertaker, not good times.

I'll probably bet 20 bucks on bryan at 34-1. I just feel like there is some possibility Reigns/Lesnar isn't the main event at wrestlemania.

Fwiw I remember when The Miz was the headline of wrestlemania, they had him as an underdog when it was pretty obvious he was going to win and The Rock was going to cost Cena.

WWe seems to be showing the PPV on it's Youtube channel.
AND, just as I posted that, they took it off. I guess a Free 10 minute preview.

I'm gonna venture a guess as to the J Deuce future.

Memphis to win the NBA Championship. And I think it's a solid future.

Never seen that happen before. They got a panel talking about it like its an actual sport.

Should've hired a hotter blonde but I guess they wanna make this chick seem like a real journalist?

Just getting caught up on this thread. It isn't Memphis, but not a bad guess and that bet could hold value. I don't bet much NBA until the playoffs start, though...by which time most futures don't hold a great deal of value. If you like, I'll PM you my pick...although you're probably going to have to wait for a bit to get on board if you're interested.

Guesser, where exactly did I make a "guarantee" about anything? Not to mention, what the hell good would it do me to get down on a horse now when the odds change all the way up to the time of the race? That's one of the many reasons I don't bother with horse racing...seems like an easy way for books to manipulate the payout after the race is already complete. But yeah, I'm like totally betting the Derby!

I'm not going to say anything other than you're going to look like a bigger flailing idiot than you already are when this is all overwith. It somehow makes sense that you're a big time rasslin' fan though...now we're talkin' your kinda language in this forum! Wooooooweeeee!

JD, there are future wagers on the Derby, so the odds won't change if you place a future wager. I have Dortmund at 20-1 no matter what his odds are on race day.

JDeuce is actually stupid enough to think they can change the odds on a future bet you already made, as the event gets closer?? Sheesh, It gets worse and worse for the kid. But at least you convinced me his Future loser isn't a Derby Horse WW. Good luck with your Future Bet. :toast:

Umm, idiot...

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I have hardly bet any horse races in my life. All of them have been on the day of the event, and I only did it because I was in Vegas or had the opportunity to bet it through someone else at some other event. Every time I bet them, the odds weren't finalized until after the race. I had no idea that fixed price futures markets existed for that because, as I said, I pretty much pay zero attention to horse racing.

The lesson of the story? I don't lie...unlike you and your dimwitted friends on here.

Be sure to let us all know when you complete your wrestling doll collection...maybe you can hit enough wrestling PPV bets to buy the latest Rock action figure. I think I outgrew professional wrestling sometime around junior high...and I can honestly say I'm not shocked at all that it still appeals to you so much at your advanced age.

Wow, putting someone down because they like Pro Wrestling. Haven't heard THAT one before. How original. I think I heard that in the schoolyard when I was 13. Coming from an idiot who actually thinks Humans have only been on earth for 2,000 years, no surprise that's what you're reduced to.
As for truth, you lied continuously about Vit's playoff record until I posted the actual proof, showing what a liar you were. You and the truth have a nodding acquaintance, but you certainly aren't friends.

The reason you heard it when you were 13 was because, as I said, that's roughly when most young boys start taking less of an interest in pro wrestling and more of an interest in things like the opposite sex.

If you're in high school or maybe college and still watch pro wrestling, I get it. If you're an adult with a young son who watches wrestling and want to watch with him or God forbid take him to a live show to bond, I even get that. But being a single adult well past middle age who still watches? That's a little scary. I'll just go ahead and take a guess that you've never been married, have no kids and have never had many serious GFs...other than the classy and intelligent types who you see on TV at the live shows. Am I right?

Shh! Don't tell him that one of the Y&R actors lives in the same condo complex as I do...and my old lady goes bowling with his wife and a bunch of their GFs every so often. Guesser will never stop hounding me to try to get him an autograph. He'd also really lose his mind if I mentioned that my niece plays on the same youth soccer team as that Zack Morris guy's daughter from Saved by the Bell...I wonder if Guesser's posters of the SBTB gang is bigger than the one of the Ultimate Warrior. Both of them probably hang prominently in the living room since...you know, that's what he considers fine art...

I know you think his future wager is a Derby bet but I highly doubt it. Picking a Derby winner at this point is a crap shoot and I doubt anyone would feel that confident in a derby future to nearly guarantee a winner. Having said that, I will throw a future derby play that I like. Keen Ice, who ran third in yesterday's Risen Star is an improving horse and has the running style and pedigree(by Curlin, out of an Awesome Again mare) to get the Derby distance. Trained by Dale Romans, who is based at Churchill Downs. Not sure what the price is elsewhere, but can get 60-1 at Betonline right now on this horse.

Nice value WW. Closed at 27-1 in the latest Derby Pool. http://www.kentuckyderby.com/sites/.../20150301 KDFW P3 ODDS WILL PAYS (FINAL).pdf

So when is Dortmund next scheduled to run, Wabash? Who are his connections?
Michelangelo, need to update this. Read today that Dortmund will now run this Saturday in the Grade II San Felipe Stakes at Santa Anita. Originally, Dortmund was to run next in the Santa Anita Derby, but trainer Bob Baffert has decided to give him one more race. Baffert has won the San Felipe 4 times.
