Five years ago when my Wife and went to update our life insurance policy. They did a bunch of testing and when we met with the broker he said " well it looks like you will live to 91 and your wife will live to 92"

So that's what I am gunning for...Since turning 50 I have been thinking alot about retirement, health etc....But having a goal post to shoot for is good. I don't want to run out of money so financial planning is very important to me as well.

The other day I was reading the book Homo Deus by Yuval Noah Harari...I just started after finishing Sapiens which was facinating. He mention that Google is funding a company called https://www.calicolabs.com/
to do biological research into aging in search of the fountain of youth. He predicts that by the start of next century wealthy individuals will be able to extend their lives to 250 years.

So how long do you think you'll live?

I fully know what you're experiencing....Have been deep into seeking simple ways to die that are painless and certain... Haven't found one yet that I can do. Mine isn't so much financial related as health issues including kidney disease. When the time is right, i will leave.
