Why does everyone assume the sharps are on Dallas. Dallas is the most popular team in the country and always get bet big by the public. The line movement was from early money, which suggest wiseguy action. I would bet wiseguys are split on this game to some extent. Yes, sharps favor home dogs, but they also favor teams with good defenses that tend to be overlooked by Vegas. I doubt this is a game where 80 percent of the public is on CAR and all the sharps are on DAL. I do think the Panthers will get more bets for sure, but I don't think it crazy. The public loves Dallas.

Number I see at the present is 80% on Carolina at 1.5......it stays there and I'm all over Dallas at all costs......

Thursday day game... favors the home team.
Artificial turf... favors Dallas.
9-0 Panther team does not need the win, will not fight for 60 minutes, whereas the Dallas 3-7 team is still in the hunt, desperate, will play the full 60 minutes with everything they have.
Dallas played tougher schedule, Sagarrin 9th SOS, Carolina 30th (going into this weekend).
Romo is now tuned up after one game, Dez is getting back in shape, Dallas "D" is gelling with some new bodies back though losing LB Lee hurts.
Public enamored with vastly overrated Cam Newton...
It's Dallas, with a possible blowout if Carolina lets down.

The link didn't work.

If you need the jest of the article, I've got the sports section sitting on my desk. I might be able to put up another link since I have a subscription, but he's being low key about the game. Some of the players are not. Oher is taking it lightly, he'll be blocking Hardy and they both played at the same high school outside Memphis and then at Ole Miss. Hardy, on the other hand, has done his usual trash talking. I realize Homo's record last 18 games, 15-3, but he's capable of blowing one when the chips are down. If Panthers' D was soft, this would be a no brainer, but it ain't so, Carolina's D is for real.

Well I was wrong about the line shift. My book has it at car -1 so no major shift which is quite frankly amazing considering the public must be hammering Carolina. That being said I am riding out my car pickem. I have looked at every angle and still cannot see how Dallas wins this game. Going with the squarest play of the day lol
