I always thought the eagles we're an overrated band , they were good but millions of people loved them. :)

I'm a Giant fan and I have to hand it to the Eagles. Getting Wentz was a great acquisition. Too bad they lost Sproles among others. Look for them to gofar into the playoffs if not the SB!

With all the games to choose from, what makes SEA your fav play next week. As good as the eagles are/look?

5 pts with russel wilson at home vs the suppose to be kings kf the nfc. It will be 3weeks without sherman. Maxwell former team. If griffen is in and lane is in and earl thomas is there and that front 9 with subs. Seattle will cover imo.

Too physical at home. Seattle knows if eagles want to be kings of the nfc they have to go through seattle. Statement game. Eagles are damn good. Probably 14-2,13-3. But mainly going with my gut and intuition honestly.

And honestly there is too much eagles hype. All this penciled in carson wentz mvp talk. But really how much of a better season is he having than Russel? I just looked at the numbers. If you include rushing and the passing yards Russell is on pace for....I mean it's a close call. If the term MVP means what it means....it is Russel wilson no brainer. He has accounted for like 81% of their yards from scrimmage this year. Highest % in the super bowl era. That's the definition of being most valuable player. But people are going to fall in love with that record and how well the team is playing and say he's the one.

Give the MVP to Wilson....The Eagles don’t care as long as they keep winning....Ertz was the first Eagle receiver to go over 100 yards last week...this is a team game....and Wentz has put up better numbers than Wilson...

I think the Eagles are a very good team no matter what anybody says about who they beat. Now i don't watch the NFL,but i do see scores and some highlights and they look good from what i see.I will be honest that i was watching my team(the Chiefs)when they were on tv,but that has ceased since they became the frauds of the NFL.But as far as the Eagles go,quite a few teams lost to bad teams as i see the scores, but in the Eagles defense they have beat those type of teams...jmo

Im not sure its "hype" if its true. They have depth out the ass, Wentz is playing like a 7 year veteran (and hes tough), both lines are great (depth there too) and special teams is even up there. They are hitting on all cylinders and its not like its just 1 or 2 offensive studs that are getting int done. And they are +9 on give away / take away.

I'm biased as an Eagles fan.

While I'm upset they lost. I don't think any less of them after this game. I didn't think they would win every game the rest of the way.

They simply lost the game. They didn't seem over matched. They didn't seem to lack confidence. Things just didn't go their way tonight and I think the Seahawks played really good and needed the game more. I'd be more then willing to take my chances vs the Seahawks in the playoffs, I feel the Eagles are the better team.

The only person who had a really bad game was coach Peterson, hopefully it was just a fluke. The punt at the end of the first half and not challenging the foward lateral were just horrendous.

I agree with everything you’ve said, except the fluke aspect. Pederson simply isn’t qualified to be a head coach, or an offensive coordinator for that matter. It’s Reid all over again. Expect a long run of great seasons and incredible choke jobs. It felt dirty, but I was chatting with my NY people right before the season and we were all sort of hoping our teams would struggle enough to fire our HC’s, because both are horrendous. The Giants may have gotten the biggest win of the year in the division getting rid of McAdoo, who is a retard. It’s been a gift to keep seeing Garrett keep his job and has really helped all East teams because the coaching in division is beyond horrendous for the past 15+ years.

I am a Vikings fan. I am looking at who are the biggest obstacles to them going to the Super Bowl. I had thought the Eagles were the biggest obstacle but that they were relatively untested because of a weak schedule. Then Wentz went down. I watched them tonight and they looked very beatable. An average Oakland team should have beat them outright.

I would not be surprised if they lost in the first round after watching the game tonight.

Vikings didn't look great against Green Bay but on the other hand they played in horrible cold weather and still never seemed threatened.

I would say the team that could be the biggest obstacle could be New Orleans because of Drew Brees.

On the AFC side....how good is New England? 10-1 last 11 but if it was college polls.....they would comment on the strength of schedule. Only signature win was at Pitts and wasnt that the game with catch/no catch where Pitt would have won?

The Saints are the team to beat in the NFC.

Saints have beat Carolina twice and Atlanta.....after that not much on the resume. I am not that impressed with ether of those teams. Lost to Minnesota, NE, Atlanta and Rams too. Brees is the biggest wildcard for them. If he gets hot he can raise the level of the team.
