About 2 years ago I lost $200 to a guy who claimed that he could throw a football over 60 yards for his knee. I could not believe it.

LOL, I was just making a point. I am glad you have responded in such a tone. Oh, bye the way, I am not gay. So please refrain from calling me such. They say homophobics are that way because it intrests them. So are you gay? Do you take it in the rear:hump: :finger: :suomi:

Out of everyone that posted about moving this thread, you had to pick me out.

Thank you, I now know that I am on your mind......I will be sure to stay far away from you for now on......Remember I am not gay, so please do not touch me.

This is the reason why its in the rubber room now is because of childish people such as yourself that has to run off with the thread and not contribute anything that is even close to what the topic was.

everyone lets give this gentlemen the golf clap.

No we lost badly...our football team was awful...it was right before the half , the first time we had crossed mid field the whole half, the team was laughing as we lined up for the kick...I caught it perfect and had the wind at my back, honestly I don't think I ever hit one that far before that...

I was just the kicker, I played soccer in the fall, but kicked for the football team when the schedule allowed for it... I was 140 lbs soaking wet back then :suomi:

Just curious, how does a thread about the wedding crashers, how someone's summer sucks, and going on a trip to denver stay up there, and this one gets bumped down? Coco makes some valid points here.

Agreed little consistency exists on what goes to RR. I have certainly seen plenty of garbage remain in the offshore forum.

For the record, I never threw a football more than 50 yards, but I have decent accuracy.

throw: 40-50 yards

kick: 35-40 yards w/a 2 step "run up" kicking off the ground - 40 or more yards if off a tee

The moving of this thread to the RR and the subsequent explanation are ridiculous IMO. Perhaps the new management team is not a turn we should have taken...:hump:

The Offshore Room has always been filled with threads with all types of subjects and certainly this topic is no exception. As far as any pissing contests, this room is filled with threads regarding comparative responses...

Usually when a thread takes on a tone in which members partake in abusive banter or other types of undesireable behaviour, the thread is moved to the RR for obvious reasons.

Perhaps the Offshore Forum should be renamed: Open Forum ( with suggested topics of discussion )

The Offshore Room has always been bit of a free-for-all with folks posting anything they want, such as football, basketball, baseball material and other topics.

When there is no real focus in The Offshore Room, then naturally folks post whatever they feel is appropriate.

Maybe The Offshore Room functions as a status symbol for the Rx?

One man who is no longer at the Rx, and shall remain nameless, in the past tended to post all his football and basketball plays in The Offshore Room and not the in football and basketball rooms.

I never really understood that completely, but it was no big deal to me.

I just enjoyed the football room by partcipating there.
