A/C in Texas is a requirement. We have old people die of heat exhaustion every summer when their A/C goes out. You could do it, but you would be miserable.

In the heat & humidity, I can't think straight. I just sit there thinking about the heat & how its affecting me.

My aunt has central AC but only turns it on when its 90 degrees or above, don't know how she does it......some people just love the heat. I know she takes a blood thinner so I wonder if she is cold from that........

at work today the AC was blowing hot air no fix till Monday! Customers were complaining and I told them it could B worse, they gave me that look and I said you could B me and B here till 10pm! Answering the question........ Most adjust w/o AC just a few will make their frustrations yours//////////
