I was incorrect. The data I was thinking of was food stamps, not welfare. Whites do dominate food stamps, and I was 1% off on TANF. My bad! 49.5% of food stamp recipients are white. 26% black.

Though Dr. Rogers said it in 1984, his words are so relevant to what we are facing in America today. In fact, it was even read and posted in the Congressional Record by Congressman Steve King from the state of Iowa on January 14, 2009.

Doesn't change my point, though. Of course, white people use more food stamps than any other race. For example, if every black person in the US received food stamps, it would take only 19% of the white population (if we use 62%) recieving food stamps to have an equal number of total recipients in each race. My point is it's not shocking, earth shattering information that more white people use food stamps more than any other race. It would be shocking if they didn't.
