Don't really care about the grade. But I believe my Raiders answered what they needed. Added weapons on offense and drafted solid CB's to help out a nicely rounding secondary.
I'm happy how it turned out.

Don't really know what they are going to do with all the receivers they have now.A lot of productive ones, but too many to go around, the way i see it is,meaning some good of their good receivers will have to be cut,so we'll see how it goes

The Cardinals had a good draft, impressive actually,so maybe they will give a run at the division, they do have a tough schedule, but if some of the top teams falter here and there, they just might have a chance

Finally,I like the draft my Chiefs had,as they addressed needed spots upgraded, and with only 5 picks i think they did good

Cowboys had their best draft since the Parcells days. Still too many holes on D to get them over the hump, but maybe the young D guys create the nucleus.

Everyone says the Eagles had a bad draft - I don't see it that way. The WR from TCU is really good. Hurts as a backup QB long term I don't think will be a bad thing. If he has to play a lot this year as starting QB and not gadget guy, well there is problems. But no more than last year.

Who will be the Patriots starting QB? Will they sign Newton?

I could see Andy Dalton going to the Patriots possibly... But, thats a huge salary hit to pick him up. Pats could work some magic and have the Bengals take some of that hit as well... Or Dalton could land in Jacksonville

I agree with Heat wave - Dallas had a good raft

I am a SF fan and the whole NFC west did well IMO

SF returned 20 of 22 starters and then plugged the departed holes with the first 2 picks - and then picked up Trent Williams for free basically when Joe Staley decided to hang them up skill goes up but Staley was a leader on the team

here's a write up from EVAN Silivia on SF

San Francisco 49ers

1 (14). South Carolina defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw

1 (25). Arizona State wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk

5 (153). West Virginia offensive tackle Colton McKivitz

6 (190). Georgia tight end Charlie Woerner

7 (217). Tennessee wide receiver Jauan Jennings
Overview: The 49ers’ haul also includes LT Trent Williams, cheaply acquired from Washington for this year’s fifth-rounder and a 2021 third-round pick. Longtime LT Joe Staley announced his retirement during the draft. Kinlaw will play a major role in replacing DeForest Buckner at far less monetary cost, while Aiyuk’s dynamic after-catch game perfectly suits Kyle Shanahan’s offensive strategy. Late on day three, the Niners grabbed an intriguing big-slot prospect in Jennings, another post-catch winner. San Francisco’s low-volume approach was similar to the Saints’ as teams that entered the draft with upper-echelon roster talent and emerged with only a few probable short- or long-term contributors. But the Niners’ haul was superior in that it banged out bigger needs and should yield more immediate results.

Who will be the Patriots starting QB? Will they sign Newton?

I believe that they brought Hoyer in to big brother Stidham who I think will start and get a fair shot to win the job or lose it going forward. The Pats signed a couple of undrafted QBs too. One of them is likely to land on the practice squad. The other will likely be cut.

I'd be stunned if the Pats signed Newton. He just isn't a Patriot type player. And what if he gets hurt? They're right back where they started. And signing Newton would bust up the Pat's plan when they signed Hoyer.

I'll bet right now that Stidham starts. We'll see.

What do you other Boston (Ct!) guys think?

[FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]It became obvious the man love between Belichick and Brady had soured.

Stidham is the man now. I don't see them signing another QB.

Belichick seems to be OK with him and that's good enough for me as I
consider him the GOAT of coaches hand down.

I see the Pats going as far as their defense can carry them. Their offense
is substandard by NFL norms.

I'm a Steelers homie and their draft was last year when they traded for
Minkah Fitzpatrick. I think they drafted 6 guys you never heard of.

It's going to be a long year for me.

Just watching the draft. Some teams like Miami had a ton of picks in what appears to be a deep draft....but they are a few years out before they are ready to compete.

From the teams closer to the top.....my first thoughts were San Fran and Baltimore are going to be tough this year.

I dont think KC has improved from last year.

Also I can never remember a year where so many starting quarterbacks are on the move. Most of them in the twilight of their careers but are they washed up...or looking to step it up with some new teammates.

Lastly if anyone is a Houston fan.....you have to be hating what they did to your team. They are going to quickly become Cleveland of the south.

Atlanta had once again the first round fk ups. 2-3 rounds weren't bad. I give them a B.....maybe B-
yeah not sure what they were thinking
i mean at worst they get chaisson and baun.
i get it, they wanted a corner with starting ability, but i think a guy even like delpit would have more impact in a game at safety

Tua is the most excited I've been about a Dolphins draft pick since I can remember. Loved that they went qb, ot, cb with the first 3 picks. Once they drafted Tua I really wanted Becton but no way he was going to fall. We will see how good Austin Jackson becomes but wasn't my favorite ot on the board. Igbinoghene has lots of potential. 2 Olympic parents and great mirror ability. Trading a 5tb for Breida was a good move. Actually prefer him to Jordan Howard.

Getting Breida for a 5th is a great move. Miami has needed a solid RB for a long time. They have one now.
