How come there are no holidays in August?

I have thought about this problem before. Here is the solution:

Get rid of Martin Luther King day in January when no one wants a holiday, and create a "Civil Rights Day" in August to honor King and Rosa Parks and all the others. Voila! Three day weekend in August.

April has Palm Sunday, Passover, Good Friday, Easter, Holocaust Remembrance Day, and Administrative Professionals Day.

May has Mother's Day, Armed Forces Day, and Memorial Day.

Even Mexico doesn't have a holiday in August and those m'fers know how to fiesta.

you could write our lawmakers and ask them why there are no holidays in the month of august... but every Aug. they take their summer recess.
