I don't care how long the Dolphins held onto the ball for, if you can't coach when the game matter most, you do not belong in the NFL.

I don't even think I would trust Sparano coaching a bunch of 5 year olds.


How in the world do you settle for a run play on 3rd and 6 in the 4th quarter with 3:30 left in the game with Peyton Manning on the other sideline?

Well...I won a ton of money over the weekend to piss it all away tonight. Believe me if I said how much I would get..."your a liar" BS but its into 5 figures... Love Flaves picks, Research was on it and I liked it too. That last 3 min made me puke. I knew when that pathetic 3rd down run call was made we were toast. Everyone except the Miami Coaches new you will lose the game giving Manning over 3 min with the game on the line. If you want to have a chance a 6 yard completion is a much better option than settling for a field goal. A very lucky 1st half FG by A.Vin, a missed opportunity by the Miami kicker from 40, dropped passes in the endzone, the stars were not aligned tonight. With CK having a 2nd half play on the Fins I KNEW I should have bailed out of the game but greed set in. I will take one more shot at gambling and if I go down I go down. BOL everyone, Flave get your thoughts together and take this thing down this week. You had a good play tonight...that's why it's gambling though (no matter what)

jack....... i really think im done, really............ i think the worse part is, is that alot of your free time is wrapped around this shit and when you lose, your in a bad mood...... especially towards others and yes yourself......... i make alot of money, but this shit is getting to the point that my funds are taking a big hit ....... ive actually beat the football season 2 of the last 4 years........ but even those wins dont outweight the heavy losses that are due to wanting the action....... this shit is too accesible, after football, it will roll into hoops, then bases....... it never ends........ i have honestly had weeks that i won or lost up to 50k. I handed over 50 large to my book before, yes in a single week. Im 36 now, i come from a affluent upbringing, always had money, but times are changing....... no easy money out there in the business world anymore.
I've been placing bets for nearly 20 years, i am smart enough to know, i am on the wrong side, and even understand paying the juice for the cost of entertainment was fine. 99% of the people on here and in the general public will lose money, the vig guarentees this. If you think you can beat this you are in the < 1% or your a fuckin liar. Sure maybe short term anything can happen, but in the long run you are dead money like everyother donkey that walks into a sports book.

That was the worst coaching I ever saw.. it goes so much further than just the opening plays/time management of the last drive of the game (which were absolutely horrible.. 2 run plays to gain 4 yards, and letting the clock tick all the way down before calling a TO to avoid a delay of game.. wtf?)

I was disgusted to see them settle for the FG at the end of the first half.. Peyton gets them into FG range there 75 percent of the time if not more with 2 minutes left. But their last fg drive that let the Colts get the ball back for the winning TD was pathetic.. you dont run on 3rd and 6 when you are already in fg range. Just flat out bad

agree 100% mista, no attempt whatsoever to get a 1st down with 4 min. left, settling for 3 and giving manning an opportunity. a 1st down would have run another 2-3 minutes off the clock. also, it looked like the dolphins were trying to run the clock out when they got the ball back, down by 4. a truly pathetic last 5 minutes for the dolphins, one of the worst i can remember.

A couple of years ago I placed the biggest bet of my life ($1,500, which is huge for me) on an NFL game. I won the bet, but it was a lot closer than I thought it would be. There was some very bad refereeing and horrendous coaching by the team I bet on. It was at that time that it really sunk in for me. No matter how much I loved a game, no matter how confident I was, there were just too many factors outside of my control for me to be comfortable betting that much money. I still bet on games, but I've never come anywhere near betting that much money on a game again.

I say all this because I can completely sympathize with Mista on his loss. It sucks when your team dominates, but still somehow manages to not cover. It's losses like the Miami game that make you absolutely sick as a bettor. I've always said I think it's better to be lucky than good when it comes to betting on sports. Last night's game illustrates that perfectly.
