When was the last time ODLH was able to use his legs for a full 12 round fight?? Tito I gues quite a few years ago and even in that fight he faded at the end (although ODLH deserved the win). As soon as he slows down, ODLH is a dead man. Although with the 2 questionable judges, you have to wonder. I'll pick Hopkins by late stoppage though. He's to big and strong.

Nothing like a big fight weekend in Vegas. I think this is the weekend of some celebration for the Mexicans. They are some cheap bastards. Too much weight for Delahoya. Hopkins to take him.

Off to Vegas tonight with da boys.

I'm simply wagering $2,000 from my 2004 school account.

DELAHOYA BY DECISION

This is my best bet of all-time. Good luck to all who bet on Oscar. If he loses I'm done. WHEN he wins I'll be back to gloat.

Read somewhere that MGM was planning on opening the line with Hopkins favored by - 120, reason being is because the people who they consult with said De La Hoya should be favored by - 120. Well as you know by now, the betting public has been all over Hopkins, driving the line up to where it is, with few bettors on De La Hoya.

It has been said, though sportsbooks expect to get a lot of California money on De La Hoya tomorrow.

We'll see.

On one of the Spanish channels this morning in Vegas the DJ was asking people what they would do if Oscar lost. One woman said she didn't know what she would do if he lost, but if he won she would sleep with her husband for the first time in two years!

FWIW, how can anyone bet on a guy who hasn't lost one big match after another? Only thing about Hopkins that makes me wonder is his age. At some point you have to figure a guy in his late 30s is going to show signs of diminished skills. Could this be the night? Still betting on DLH in a big fight is a big mistake if you ask me. The guy just doesn't find a way to get it done. He is like the Red Sox!

And what a joke the payday is. Hopkins is clearly the more accomplished fighter and he gets $10 million while Oscar is supposed to get $30 million. Don't let anyone tell you looks and race don't matter in sports.

Inside the distance is KO, TKO, DQ, or any decision that comes before the 12 rounds have been completed (like going to score cards after an accidental headbutt).

I'm not buying ( PPV) the fight, didn't bet enough to justify it, plus I generally prefer not to watch what I bet on, esp. NBA.

Just like ya read about Shrink, Good call, seemed obvious to me also but the Golden Boy hype was starting to spook me. The knockout makes it very nice indeed.

Thank you Dante...

It's nice when it works and I saw value getting 2-1 on the knockout vs. laying 2-1 on any win...

Hopkins was the much stronger boxer and he made De La Hoya look bad...

I believe the Judges all had Hopkins winning and two of them had Hopkins leading by an insurmountable margin prior to the KO..

De La Hoya had no pop to his punches at all..

The late Money foolishly all came in on De La Hoya as I Purchased Hopkins here in Las Vegas on Saturday at - 160. Another easy boxing wager. I love betting on boxing and just wish this over the hill chump Tyson would climb back into the ring with anyone not on a respirator.

I felt like neither boxer had any umph in their punches. Both just played cat and mouse around the ring. Overall, they both suck balls.

Match ended just like the way it should, no KO in the face, but in the body.
