The problem with chases like this is that 4th games can be very nerve wrecking if you're not beginning small enough.
I'm curious, how much you begin with in the first game, if for example your bankroll for this chase is $1,000?
I wouldn't begin with more than $10 (to win).... In this case you could go even on the 5th game, if the first 4 were lost.

Varkey is right. Chases aren't for everyone and each person should wager according to what they can afford in the event of a loss. After all, it's still gambling.
Remember, this chase pertains to 3 or 4 game home series - whatever the case is it ends with the series. The main thing is to anticipate the amount you may have to wager in game 3 (or 4 if it's a 4 game series) if it were to get that far. I wager small (ie. 1/4 unit) because I know if the series goes to game 3 then it could be a very large risk.
Plenty of people say chases are terrible and leave them alone, and maybe they're right. However, I started this chase 4 years ago and haven't lost yet. I'll keep it going and hope it turns a profit this season.
