btw I am very frustrated with my record ytd. I expect it to be much better. I can sit here and bitch about not catching a break because it is the truth. The last time I had a break go my way I can't even remember. I pretty much have to drill every game by 10 points or so to avoid getting screwed in some form or another. I haven't been expressing it, but my frustration level is at an all time high. I feel I have a lot coming to me and plan to go on a serious run. When most tend to do worse when conference plays starts up and the lines tighten I usually tend to do better. I have a few theories behind that. There is no secret that I love playing home dogs in cbb, and with cbb, more than any other sport in conference play these teams no each other so well home dogs seem to cover at a much higher rate. Same with short home chalk. All home teams know they need to protect their home court in conference and if you look at win/loss home splits they tend to hold court for the most part. That is why I think home dogs, and short home chalk in conference play are gold minds. Sure you can't play them blind, but if you pick and chose your spots, and don't get scared of the name on the jersey you should be good. I can't tell you how many times Rutgers has covered a huge spread in the RAC for me the past 5 years or so. Even going back to when Mello was a freshman at Syracuse up until last week at home against Pitt, Rutgers at the RAC has been good to me. So when most feel the lines tighten and it's much harder, I actually welcome conference play, and expect to start catching some breaks and get the units coming in. I would like to have more in my pocket up to now, but I am setting a goal to make at least 60 by the end of the season. For now on you will notice I will have more 4, or 5 unit plays. By now I know these teams inside out, and can almost tell you who I will be taking before I actually sit down and dig into the line. This time of year it's more about situation.
