I like ND this weekend depending on the line. They can beat the zone with their 3 point shooting.

i've had plenty +unit nights

I am sure you know this but I think RUNDMC was using a Texas Hold'em term that when you have the best hand after revealing the cards that it stands through the flop turn or river. I don't think he was taking a stab at your record.

GL today HD. Bruins have dominated UA recently in LA, but I'm on the under. Might add the Bruins too.

ya i really like how UCLA has improved from the start of the season. Howland is a great coach, and since Novemeber i think they have been the most improved team. with collinson, and holliday they can straight lock you up on defense. collinson will be all over wise, and holliday will take care of budiner. aboya will bang down low with hill and probably get him in foul trouble. i will take the ucla defense over the arizona offense any day. plus arizona is weak on defense which will allow an improving ucla offense to have their way. i think they win this by 20

Very true. UA doesn't have any great man to man matchups on offense against the Bruins strong D. Although the Zona D hasn't been anything special this season, they have improved as of late which makes me like the under. I don't see Arizona cracking 60 in this one.

ya i expected them to lose that one. i will take it as a victory just b/c rautins wasn't seriously injured. i thought he was done for the year so i was thankful to hear he is fine. they missed 2 three's that were practically in and rolled out, then jackson went 1-8 from the line, all the misses came at times when they were either making a run, or trying to stop a run, so they all hurt. if a few of those went in the game doesn't get in double figures and it could be a different story. gtown shot lights out. i don't think they will have a shooting night like that the rest of the season. throw in that rautins got hurt in the 1st half and didn't play from then on, and flynn having an off game, and you have a blow out on your hands. they will get revenge when they get them later in the year. i would have liked to win the game, but just didn't see it happening so i was prepared. i think they win saturday at home against ND, and hope to split next week when they are @ pitt, and then get louisville at home. going to be tough to win @ pitt, but if they protect their home court they will be fine. they win their home games, and steal a few on the road and they can get a #2 or 3 seed in the ncaa which is fine.

Ok Homedawg, I know you are a Cuse fan, just like I am a ND fan, but when exactly did you expect Cuse to lose to G-Town? Here is what you wrote on Monday

i think Georgetown -3 or 4. I love Syracuse in the role of dog here. I really think they win this game. I don't see an answer for Arinze down low, and Flynn will get to the cup whenever he pleases. Syracuse's zone may give the Hoyas fits. If they are able to rebound out of it I think they win. I see them winning the next 2 games before losing. Really really excited for this game. I think this will be the game that lets the nation know that the Cuse is a legitimate national title contender.

You guys will probably beat ND on Saturday, because ND has no fucking bench and it's painful to watch. But if Cuse allows ND the looks it was giving G-Town they are gonna get beat.

yes i thought they were going to win at first, but after the line was released (6.5)i started to get the feeling that maybe they wouldn't have a chance. after i was reading more and more into i was starting to get a bad feeling. if you would have asked me before the game i would have said gtown. i actually did say it in a couple threads before the game (i believe ryan leaf's?). i believe that post was from early monday? the high line was the first thing to alert me.

as for saturday i always hate matching up with nd because they have the ability more than any other big east team to shoot syracuse out of the zone. the main difference this year is that this team is more of a man to man team anyways so i think you will see much more man than zone (at least i hope so). i think gody will have a big day. this should be a shoot out. i can see this getting into the high 70's, low 80's. home court should win out. the league is so good this year that if the good teams can concentrate at protecting their home court everything will play out good

UCLA -11

Since Novemeber I think UCLA is the most improved team in the country. I was very impressed watching them against USC. They have come a long way since watching them in the beginning the season against Miami Oh, and Michigan. I have to admit, even though Collison is my favorite player in the country i was worried that this team was down A LOT from the past 3 years. I really couldn't see them doing much this season, but then i watched against Texas, and was impressed in a loss, and even more impressed against USC. They now have that lock down defense back, to go along with an improving offense. Jrue Holliday gives the Bruins yet another lock down defender to go with Darren Collison. With both of them out their, Collison can check Wise, and Holliday take care of Budinger. That leaves Jordan Hill to get in foul trouble down low against Alfred Aboya. I will take a good offense over a good defense any day, an that is what we have tonight. Plus an improving UCLA offense should find it easier to score against an Arizona defense that gives up to many points. UCLA has owned the Cats at Pauley Pavilion and that should continue tonight. I say UCLA by 20
