yeah thats pretty obvious...and is not why i made the pick...but im up 11 at half so i think im on the right side tonight...BOL to ya
there usually is a reason when the team in 10th place with 2 conference wins is favored over the team in 1st place with 1 conference loss. more times than not the home team will win this one.
mo st lives and die by the 3. they are usually very good shooting at home. they are off tonight, but still can easily shoot themselves back into the game. should be a good 2nd half
NIowa is red hot, I think they've won 7 straight games now, against quality competition for the most part. Some impressive road wins in that streak as well. That said I didn't play the game, it was NIowa or nothing and I saw you all on the other side so I stayed off it. I know the guys down here know their hoops, I decided to pass and work on tomorrow's card. I hope they can come back in the 2nd half for you guys, lot of hoops left to be played.
This team is just too hot to go against right now though, win or lose I'd be very careful playing against them right now.
lol...sounds like you already using them as fade material...just believe homedawg!!! lolfaded them last game vs bradley for 5 units. very familiar with this no iowa team. they have made such improvements b/c of their improved guard play. however their guards are young, and have been shooting very well. i am questinable if they will continue to shoot at this % the remainder of the year. they have upgraded their back court a good deal compared to last season, but against teams with good guard such as bradley, creighton , illinois st, i still don't think they measure up. they lead the valley right now, but i still think they are more in the 2nd tier of the valley teams. creighton has been slumping, but still feel overall they better better than no iowa. right now i would go Illinois St (clear favorite), creighton, bradley, and then no iowa leading the 2nd tier.
these guys might be good fade material once they come down to earth. going to catch some slightly inflated lines because of their pretty record.
